Mislead my about a *** promotion.
I purchased a new phone at Pro Cellular an authorized *** dealer on *** , as part of the promotion your old phone could be turned in for a $*** credit towards accessories or your bill(link to website ***). However, when we were there the sales person misinformed and stated that the $*** credit could be used for in store credit, which is not true based on the *** website. The sales person knowing mislead us in order to make a sale. We could have used the $*** to pay our cell phone bill and not spend money at the store. Pro Cellular marks up their products quite a bit compared to the open market meaning we paid a premium for the accessories. I would like Pro Cellular to reimburse me for the difference between their price and the open market.

Our products are priced very much in line with other businesses offering similar products in our markets. We carry good quality products, from reputable manufacturers. We have applied a $*** bill credit to the customers wireless account. We do not have details of the difference between our price and the "open market", since that can be an arbitrary number depending on where the customer feels they can get the exact same products, for a lower or sometimes higher price depending on the product.

Pro Cellular will not accept defective returns
I purchased a screen protector on *** from Pro Cellular for $*** plus tax. When I went to the store to purchase a screen protector the customer service agent only gave me one option in product choice, a ***. The agent put the screen protector on my phone. The item fell off the phone 25 days after purchase and would not adhere back on. I contacted *** for a refund. *** stated they will replace it for $*** shipping but, in order to get a refund I'd have to take it back to Pro Cellular.
On *** I took it back to Pro Cellular. They stated I could not return it because it had been used and that I should get a refund or replacement through ***. I told them I will not pay $*** for a replacement for an item that is defective in workmanship. I told them that I have already replaced the screen protector with a product called "***". They said, "oh we sell that." I said that's what you should have sold me.
I never received a call back from the Manager.
1) Pro Cellular recommended and sold a product known to not work well on curved edge phones
a. A *** representative stated they should not have sold it to me and that these types of screen protectors have been recalled.
b. They placed the screen protector on my phone prior to payment and did not explain the return policy. Essentially once the item is placed on the phone it is considered used and they don't return used products.
2) Pro Cellular does not allow a return on defective/ used products.
a. I was not informed of this prior to the sale.
3) I should not have to pay to replace a defective item.
I would like a refund for this item.
We have issued a refund check to the customer on *** for the amount of the Screen Protector and applicable taxes equalling $***. The employee(s) should have replaced the item at no cost if it was defective. There is a replacement cost when an item is damaged by a customer, but if it was in tact and simply came off, it should have been replaced at no cost. The brand of Screen Protectors that we carry have not been recalled, and we have sold hundreds of these for this device without issues. We have coached each employee in this location on what should have been done in this situation. The refund check has been mailed from our Corporate Office to the customers address. Check # ***. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The refund is an acceptable outcome.
