our first meeting the Client mentioned the "Light and Power" issue (her words)She stated at that time she called the city to confirm that there was no legal easement on her property and we were to ignore the hydro line and continue as if it does not exist
On multiple occasions we visited with various officialsWe met with all utility companies such as *** and also met with ***At one point we exposed an oil tank and stopped work due to safety concernsThe Client addressed this third party issue, it was resolved, and we continued to work*** and *** visited to discuss the deck construction (on multiple occasions) and they recommended to the Client that she should not build a deck on her property even though there was no legal easementWe discussed with *** the pole, guy wire and the power line that goes over most of the back yardIt was at this time that the Client informed us that because *** had no legal easement on the property and we were to proceed with construction
When the deck was completed we returned and addressed a number of inspection items for ***At that time the file was signed off and closedWhen speaking with the *** they mentioned that in the Client's file it was noted that she had been deceptive regarding the process of getting her deck constructed and they believe that there will be future problems with ***
During the completion of the project we have completed other additional projects for the ClientAll work is fabulously constructed and no short cuts were taken, as there was amazing attention to detail
I suggest that the Client consult with *** regarding the route she should takeThey may be able to address any of their / her safety concernsAny adjustments to this project is considered additional services and are subject to additional costs
