Review: Please read the following information/complaint sent to AtlasChoice.com on 8/16/13.Dear Atlas Team, (PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS) Just wanted to update you on my car rental agreement and the complaint that I have with your service and with Dollar Car Rental. I have had no experience with your company prior to this booking but you came up with such a great rental price, I thought, why not try them? Anyway, I booked the rental and paid the $350.00 dollars immediately. No where in the booking did it tell me that I must have a major credit card, Process seemed easy, internet site was easy enough to navigate. I got a great deal on the rental car and I was Happy.... I should have known better. Your site said I would be sent a voucher as soon as I had been matched with a rental car provider. I thought that was strange but, whatever you normal process is, then it must work, right? Well, I never received the voucher so I had to go back on to your site to print one. When I printed the voucher, suddenly it says that I must have a Major Credit Card. Well, I don't own any credit cards. I do not like them, do not trust them and if I can't afford to pay cash for something, then I must not be able to afford it, therefore, I do not have any. Suddenly, I have a big problem because it also then says on your site, after clicking some buttons on the small print that you will also not reimburse a person for failure to have a major credit card. Nice practice.... So, I get on the phone with Dollar to try to figure out what I can do about this terrible situation that I am now in. I am getting ready to go on vacation, I am out $350.00 dollars and I have no way to get there because I do not have a credit card to rent the car I need to drive me there. That great, just great.... I finally get to speak to a representative at Dollar who assures me that as long as I have a debit card with the Visa or MasterCard Logo and can put an additional $350.00 down as a deposit, there wilDesired Settlement: I want Atlas to assist me in getting the additional charges removed from my account with Dollar as they are the partner company that sent me to dollar to begin with and they failed to disclose the need for a Major Credit Card before I paid for the service, then show a disclaimer in the fine print that states failure on my part to have a major credit card will not be valid cause for a refund? There web site should make that explicitly clear. Also, why do they advertise as a business in the UK?

On the website during booking a rental car for my trip outside U.S, they have advertised that I will be getting CDW and theft protection along with the booking and later in the voucher they sent, it said CDW and TP aren't available if I am a US resident and when I called them to cancel the reservation, they ask for a hefty cancellation fee. Ridiculous!!
