At Home Lawnmower Service

On 6/27/13 said business picked up my working lawnmower. On 6/29/13 it was returned to me for $200,paid,but next day unworkable and all gears frozen.On 6/27/13, I spoke with [redacted] (last name ?)of AAAA At Home Lawn Mower Service in Ludlow, Massachusetts (XXX-XXXXXXX), with regard to my Honda Harmony lawnmower.At that time it would start but ran to roughly with less power to be of use. I asked if he could help. He said he would be over to take a look. When he arrived I started the machine and he said the problem was that it needed a new carburetor. If I would pay him $200.00 he would fix it.He looked under the machine and thought I needed a new blades, I said I did not need new blades and I would not pay for it.He said he would replace this at no charge.He took the machine and returned it on 6/29/13 saying "I had to rebuild the carburetor because I could not find a new one". He argued the case that "this rebuilt one is as good as a new one because there are so few moving parts in a carburetor". He insisted on full payment, I assented to this. The machine was started. I put it away since I had company. On going to use it the next day,it would not even turn over on several pulls. In addition,the machine was now impossible to roll in reverse. All gears are frozen.I called [redacted]. Finally, after many hours he called back on 6/30/13. He said he would be over to take a look. He never returned that day or later. Upon calling him subsequently many times on that day and on 7/1,7/2,7/3,numerous times, I have not heard from him nor do I now expect to hear from him. His answering machine at XXX-XXX-XXXX says boisterously;"This is [redacted]"!...about 6 seconds pass,then; "I'm sorry that mailbox is full, please try again later". This is what happened to me, an [redacted] who wishes that no one else falls for this rip off person disguised as a repair man. Beware he is advertising in the yellow pages of the phone book at the address and phone number listed above. Desired SettlementI am looking for a full repair of the damages caused to my Honda Harmony lawnmower. If I can not get a repair, a return of $200.00 would be appreciated.

I paid 115.00 dollars for a tuneup on my Lawn Mower, The carburetor is smoking. This Happened 5/21/2014.They came to pick up my Lawnmower and I started it this morning and the carburetor is smoking . I called him again this morning and asked " what the [redacted] did you do to the lawnmower?" "It's smoking" He told me to start the lawn mower and the smoking will stop, I told him I did that and he said he would be here . It is now 9;52 I just called again and he told me "I will be there here no later then 10".I said to him so I will see you at 2.He said" what do you mean by that?" and I told him " you called here at 12 noon yesterday and said you were on your way should be there in a half an hour" Well it was 2 hours later that he came here it is now 10 am and he is not here Desired SettlementI want my money back I will never use him again and I would like his business closed down

Hired to fix starting problem and belt problem on riding lawn mower he didn't fix ether charged me 375 mower ran for half hour then wouldn't start I called this "company" to have my polan riding lawnmower fixed I was having starting issues and one of the belts kept falling off according to the buisness card I have they supposedly did the repairs on site but when I called he said they didn't do that anymore so I had him come pick the mower up at my house on Saturday October 11 2014 He had the mower for 11 day I got the mower back today Tuesday october 21 2014 he charged me 375.00$ dollars .....he said he replaced all the connections whatever that means all I could find were two new battery nuts and bolts charged me 50.00$ bucks for that he didn't even replace the belt that kept falling off all he did was put it back on charged me 100.00$ bucks for that and 225.00 for a "tune up" all he did was clean the old air filter replaced a gas filter and a quart of oil I went to use it right after he left I ran it for about a half hour I cut half my front yard I shut the mower off to empty the bags and the mower wouldn't start back up 375.00 dollars and the thing ran for a half hour he didn't replace the battery or the belt wich is the reason I called them to begin with all he pretty much did was clean itDesired SettlementI want a refund for 275.00$
