Was contacted by this company and told I needed to setup my warranty on my vehicle. They asked if my car was in North Carolina and proceeded to talk over me when I was explaining it never was and the company should know that. They get me on the phone with a Lisa who basically tells me if I don’t get my warranty now and something happens to my car I’ll be coming out of pocket completely which freaks me into this contract.
They give me a number and tell me they aren’t open on the weekends weird.
I contact Jeep and they said they don’t use this company for their warranty.
I don’t know how these people got my information.
They gave me a policy number and cards to use when I went in for maintenance so I’d only have to pay a small deductible and told me it was covered through nationwide.
I want this contract cancelled and my money refunded.
I paid by credit card to Assured Auto Group on 09/30 for expired extended warranty I talked to a Edwina Chandler.
I could not get in contact with her, nor has she retuned my calls nor emails. I want to cancel this policy. I also would like a refund. I heard this was a scam. I was advised to cancel. I am elderly. I was pressured. I have a limited time to recover my refund.
A auto repair contract was purchased on January 18, 2017 from Assured Auto Repair, LLC. I received a letter dated December 20, 2017 was sent saying that the contract purchased was not properly reported and funded to ***. I was told to contact Assured Auto Repair for a refund and have been unable to get anyone on the phone to process a refund. The contract number is ***.
This business refused to cover the only 2 claims that I tried for auto repairs under the warranty that I purchased. This business is a rip off and they use every loophole possible to deny claims.
First, we would like to apologize if the claims process has met Mr. with frustration. It is important to know that Assured Auto Repairs LLC is simply a selling agent of vehicle service contracts, and has no involvement with the claims process. Because Assured Auto Repairs takes these matters seriously, we reached out to the claims department to get more information regarding the repair. It appears that Mr.’ had his vehicle in on 9/29/17 for an exhaust leak. The shop stated that it was an exhaust gasket which is not listed for coverage by the terms of the contract. The shop was informed that the vehicle may also have an issue with the exhaust manifold itself. The shop was supposed to access the exhaust manifold so an inspector could verify the failure. The customer called the claims department on 10/7/17 requesting information regarding his claim. When they informed him that they were waiting on the shop to access the manifold for inspection, the customer indicated that he already had the repair done without prior authorization. The claim was subsequently denied for no prior authorization as there is no way for the claims department to verify the actual failure to the exhaust manifold. Mr. contacted Assured Auto Repairs on 10/24/17 and cancelled his contract due to the claim and we have issued him a pro-rated refund. In conclusion, the customer was held to the terms of the contract, which was an agreement between him and the administrator. We would again like to apologize to Mr. and with this resolution we would ask that you would consider this complaint, closed as resolved.

I am rejecting this response because:
Received the letter assured auto repairs response was totally false they canceled my policy and I haven't received no refund and in very unhappy with assured
Sincerely
I apologize that Mr. had not received the check at the time that he rejected the complaint as it was en route to the address he provided to us. Please see attached check that was issued for the pro-rata amount and the bank statement showing that the check has indeed been cashed. We reached out to Mr *** on multiple occasions to see if we could resolve the issue however we have been unsuccessful reaching him. Again, Assured Auto Repairs had nothing to do with the claim but in good faith and to satisfy the customer refunded them promptly to avoid any further issue. We ask that you mark this case closed as resolved as the customer has indeed received the check. Thank you.
I received a notice in the mail on Saturday Sept 16 2017 stating my vehicle is without a warranty and to contact them ASAP. I am 98 years old, I do not own a vehicle and I want my information removed as I am not interested and do not want them having my information, nor do I want future mailings.
First I would like to start by apologizing if our advertisement has met Ms *** with frustration. It is no different than getting an advertisement from different grocery stores, credit cards or auto dealers. It is important to note that there are several companies that provide a similar service to ours. We understand that some people may have had less than impressive interactions with other companies in our industry but we strive to provide the best level of customer service possible. We would be happy to remove Ms *** from our mailing list. Again we apologize for any frustration this may have caused. We ask that you please remove the complaint as we have removed Ms *** from our mailing list promptly and completely.
