In regards to this complaint, ***'s Towing did not tow this gentlemen's vehicle, this vehicle was towed by Associated Towing, Associated Towing just happens to store cars in the same locationMr*** was given a receipt for his money clearly showing Associated Towing on it Also he may
have called at 5:00am that morning after having his vehicle towed for parking in the street during a snow emergencywe are open 24hrs a day, and answer phones hrs a day by a live person never an answering service, he was told the office would be open to release vehicles after 8:am and could come in anytime after that to retrieve his vehicle so long as he was the registered owner, as he state in his complaint he waited until the next day to come to our shop which to his own fault for waiting until the next day caused him to be charges an additional day storageWe are sorry that his vehicle was towed, but in no way are we to blame for itI feel that Mr*** is just trying to get his money back for his own mistakeIf Mr*** came in at any point on the day his vehicle was towed as he was told it would have been released to him for $($for towing $for storage) As per MA State DPU RegulationsThank you very muchIf you need anything further please feel free to contact us at anytime.*** ***'s Towing***

We have answered this complaint already, Mr. [redacted] filed this complaint against [redacted]'s Towing, His vehicle was towed for parking on the Street during a snow emergency, he claims he called and we were to open, we are open 24 hrs a day to our customers. He claims he called and we told him first we were not open then again and we had no one to release the car, if he called at 5:00 am we would have told him the office is open at 8:00 am our phones are answered 24 hrs a day by a live person No answering service. He claims he called after 8:00 and we had no one to release the car to him which is incorrect, we have a fully staffed garage and office with ample staff to help him, all he had to do was come into our office and the vehicle would have been released to him. If he picked up his vehicle on the first day the fee would have been $143 as set by MA State DPU, he waited until the following day to come in, which is by No fault to us, when he came in the following day he was argumentative and verbally abusive to our staff because he felt as his vehicle should not have been towed, [redacted] Police Dept. had the vehicle towed for him parking in a city street during a snow emergency. he was charged $178, ($108 for tow, $70 for storage). all rates are set by the state. he could have come into our office when the vehicle was towed and saved himself $35, or he could have not parked where he clearly should not have and not have been towed at all. In no way are we responsible for his actions, so he was not over charged.

[When I call at 5:00 am , they told me that I will not be able to pickup the car at that time because they have no one to release the car; This is not part of the MASS law.  Further more when I called after 8:00 am they were not open still.  I called the next day then they told me they were there.  When I got there I asked why would I pay an extra day to recover the car when it is their fault that they were not open...the service rep told me I was STUPID enough to leave the car in the street that is why.  I felt very disrespectful specially in front of my daughter.  YES indeed there were words exchange afterward.  They did not give me any explanation for the rate.  I need a clear explanation of the rate and a refund for the extra day.  These company don't know how to treat people right and to have a decent convo with their customers.
