Asics Outlet Clarksburg

Purchased a pair of shoes at 12/11/2018 on a BOGO offer and our receipt claims that with the receipt "Merchandise may be returned for a refund or exchange for any reason within 60 days of the date purchased". When we went to return one pair on 12/27/18 the manager refused to refund them despite us having the receipt and it being within 60 days. The excuse from the manager was they "had mud on the sole of the shoe". Mud is classified as "any reason" stated on the receipt.
