Worst experience I have ever had. I purchased from this company in february (online purchase). My first delivery date was supposed to be the 7th of March... supposedly my bed was not in stock but my table was. I asked if I could cancel the bed since they didnt know when it would be available, I talked to about 10 different people and they eventually told me it would be delivered that day. It was not. I called the next day and was told they canceled my entire order because I had "called too many times" wow. I asked to speak to a manager and the woman laughed at me. In a condescending tone asked, "what do you need to speak to a higher up for if I'm assisting you?" I told her because she was being rude and I wanted to speak to management, she laughed again and passed me to another rep 15 minutes later who said there was no supervisors or managers available. I talked to another 4 more reps that day who told me I could no longer get my table on the delivery date promised. That I would have to wait 2 more weeks. I was told to avoid these situations, I should go into a homestore and purchase. So that's exactly what I did... I purchased a couch and a bed on march 14th. which included the slats and storage. I was told the one I initially wanted wouldn't be available till May so they suckered me into paying more for one that would arrive sooner, mind you I've been sleeping on the floor since I was waiting for my bed that I ordered in february... anyways, fast forward guess what! Parts of my bed arent available, they push it back to April 11th. Parts of the bed show up and the couch. But nothing that makes the bed able to function since the slats and rails are missing. Spoke to more rude reps who laugh whenever I ask to speak to a supervisor or manager. So on the 21st I get a call saying it will be delivered the 23rd and that its finally in. On the 22nd I get a call saying they never recieved it and wont be getting it till late May. Horrible customer service. The woman who told me it wont be available told me to take up my issues with the store. These people are money hungry and do NOT care about the customers at all. This is the rudest customer service I have ever experienced. I would have rather bought used from facebook market than to have delt with these unprofessional, uncaring, rude, condescending people.

I called today and spent 49 minutes on hold. *** literally put me on hold until the store closed so she wouldn't have to deal with me. Thanks again Ashley's homestore for you ridiculous customer service.

And to top it off, I'm being charged for furniture that hasn't even been delivered on my bill!!!

Called the customer cares service line and couldn’t get a resolve so We have been working with the store manager of the Tupelo location for the last several months. Now we can no longer get a call or an email back. We were sold a poor quality piece of furniture and a warranty that was to cover issues that might arise. Well, we went to file with the warranty company and were denied because they don’t cover things like poor workmanship or pieces of fabric coming apart. When we were sold the warranty the sales person made it sound like we needed to get the warranty to cover things that might go wrong or happen to it. This is false. *** had supposedly been working on getting us fabric to repair the piece in dispute but it’s been months and no fabric and no contact from Ashley. I’ve tried calling leaving messages and emails. No response.

We are working with Ms. and the manufacture to see if we can come up with a solution to resolve her situation. Thank you!

Ashley Homestore delivered two chairs. Both were defective. When they picked up the old and delivered new, both were defective. A call to get a repair was slated for 9/4. Today, they tell me we are not scheduled. I took the day off to get this repair done.

Ashley Home Furnishings is not living up to the standards that they advertise.

I'm very dissatisfied with Ashley Furniture in Tupelo. They are friendly and have excellent prices, but getting the furniture delivered is a different story. You are on your own regarding that the moment you walk out the front door. You are left to haggle with the Memphis warehouse over delivery times which are often many weeks and even months away. They give you a delivery date only to change it multiple times. It becomes very confusing because each time you call you are talking to a different person and it's easy to get two or three different people working on the same problem and thereby confusing things even more. And what time will the delivery be made? Good luck with pinning them down on that. They will first give you a date but not a time. You have to call back the day before delivery to get the time. But of course in the meantime your delivery date may have been canceled. Am I done? Certainly not. There's much more. When the delivery is finally made, possibly months after the purchase, you may or may not receive your complete order. There may be one or more items missing and they may or may not mention it. I bought $5,000 worth of furniture for my stepdaughter recently. She ended up with only 5 out of 6 chairs for her dining room table. When will the 6th chair arrive? Never unless I had called. It's promised in 9 days, but I'm not holding my breath. Will it match the other 5? Again, I'm doubtful because this is a very messed up business and I'm embarrassed for them. Can the store give me the 6th chair off its floor display? Of course not. It wouldn't do for them to have a missing chair - it's OK for me but not for them. You will get good prices but I wonder if it's worth the big hassle actually getting the merchandise in your home. Sometimes, it can feel like pulling teeth. I have had similar experiences with Ashley in the past and each time I decide to give them another chance thinking it might be a one-time thing. Once could be an accident but two or three times is a pattern. It's a problem that Ashley certainly needs to address if it wants to stay in business. There are too many other options out there.

On December 9, 2018, we entered Ashley Furniture in Tupelo, MS at approximately 3:30 pm. Instantly, we were helped by a man, I cannot recall his name but he was working with another customer when *** approached us.

I was interested in a sectional that was online. She assured me this would be no problem. Transaction completed. Down payment put in. Scheduled pickup ready.

On December 31, 2018, I received a call from ***. She informed me my furniture was not going to be ready to be picked up on time. I asked for a discount on my purchase since it would be delayed over a month from purchasing. She informed me that she could not discount it further but offered me free delivery for January 21. This is the last I heard from ***.

On January 20, 2019, I called the store to make sure my sectional couch would be delivered. This is when ***’s demeanor changed. She was rude and loud. She informed me she called me back to inform me that my furniture would not be delivered, that I’d have to pick it up, and the delivery truck was full of December 31. I informed her that I did not receive any call from her. As she began to raise her voice with me and blatantly call me a liar. I asked for a supervisor.

The supervisor *** was worse. He I listened to my complaint then began YELLING at me as well. Informing me that she didn’t talk to me but left me a voicemail. However, I did not have a voicemail set up at that time. He offered me a refund with us loosing a 10% restocking fee and down payment. I still needed my couch and I couldn’t afford to just throw $100+ away. I asked him when I could pick up my furniture I paid for and he said “February 2, 2019 but it is subject to change”

He also refused to give me the owners name. He informed me if I called corporate it would just be sent back to him and he was my only option.

Within 30 minutes I receive a call from the Tupelo store. I can vividly hear minimum 2 employees (for sure at least one woman and a man) talking about “a customer is never right/she is probably too fat to sit on the couch anyways/I dare her to call corporate”

I call them back and inform them of the call made. I was hung up on.

I recently purchased a bedroom suit from the home store in Tupelo, the sales manager, ***, has very poor customer service. We had not yet received the furniture that was purchased due to it being delivered by the company. Upon deciding to wait and possible purchasing more, I called and at this point I was told that there would be a restocking fee. In total confusion as to why they were charging a 10% fee to restock something that had yet been delivered or even pulled from a warehouse on a bedroom suit that we were told was a best seller, we consulted with the manager who felt as if he was being threaten when we questioned as to why had to pay a fee for something new had yet to receive! My recommendation for Ashley home store in Tupelo wouldn’t be advised until this manager finds some sort of costumer service skills because at the sight of questions he will walk away from you or threaten to turn you over to the legal department, where he says “they always win”.

Paid almost 2,000 for a couch and recliner. Was promised it would be delivered on Friday. 2 weeks later it still wasn't delivered. I drove to the store to cancel the order and was told I would be charged 200 for that and my money would be credited to my account. Weeks later I still haven't recieved my refund. At this
Point I feel the company is a thief.
