The product sent was damaged at the time of arrival, the delivery people contacted the store with pictures the same day for a refund, a technician showed up a month later and then said we could get a refund however we must pay a 25% restocking fee. We do not have to pay that restocking fee since we contacted you the same day and the company took so long which resulted in the product staying over a week in our home which is why ashleys wont give us a full refund although that is not our fault. I contacted customer service several times and they were not helpful at all. At this point I am frustrated and furious. I expected nice couches from the store but what came was unacceptable and did not look like the couches in store. They look old, deflated and came with many tears. The product came damaged - that was not our fault. We've had it for quite some time now even though we wanted to return the same day but your store will not give us a full refund. That is also not our fault and now you want me to pay 25% restocking fee for no reason. That is like defrauding customers, you want me to pay money because of the damaged couches. I am very upset with the both the product and customer service. I am kindly asking for a full refund.
Full refund. I will not pay a restocking fee, theyre trying to take money from me for no reason. They sold me a damaged item and want me to pay for returning it? They procrastinated to take it back from me the same day too.
good morning
we spoke with the guest and informed of the proper procedure regarding the repair of the product before replacement with same product. the guest stated that he does not agree and that he does not want to pay the restocking fee for the return. that aspect was agreed upon at the time of sale and signed in good faith.
the guest does not agree ***.
we tried offering options within the agreement of the same. the guest declined.
we consider the matter closed.
