Review: On May 22 2013, I paid for my chimney and for my dryer vent to be cleaned per direction of the condo association. While it appeared the individual who came working for Ashmasters Chimney Services, Inc. cleaned the dryer vent, he in fact only cleaned the inside portion of the dryer vent. The condo association gave specific direction for the entire dryer vent to be cleaned. I complained, and they sent the same person the following week. At first this same person did not believe me, so I showed him the outside vent and how it was clogged with lint. He reluctantly claimed it was just the outside vent and complained because I was on the third floor, he couldn't reach. This same company came out three years ago and did an excellent job using a cleaner that was at least 10-12 feet in length and cleaned the entire vent. I told this person who came back on 24 Aug the same thing, and he disputed that they only clean up to 2 feet the dryer vents and only from the inside. This same company cleaned my downstairs neighbor's dryer vent using the 10-12 ft cleaner. For some reason, this company kept sending the same person who refused to use that device and would only clean the bare minimum using only a 2-ft cleaner. I paid $150 for this service that this company refused to honor. I called the company owner, who refused to listen to my observations. He stated if my guy said he cleaned it, then he cleaned the dryer vent. This company fraudulently charged me for a service they did not thoroughly complete.Desired Settlement: Given that I have tried so many times to have this company clean the dryer vent thoroughly and that I have given them ample opportunity to do so, I am requesting they refund me the amount owned to me for the cleaning of the dryer vent, which amounts to $75. The remaining amount was for cleaning the chimney, and I also doubt he cleaned that as well. I witnessed how they cleaned my downstairs neighbors and the device they used. They did not use that same device to thoroughly clean out dryervent.

We sent a technician to **. [redacted] on May 23, 2013 to clean out his dryer vent and sweep his chimney, which we did for a total of $150.00. **. [redacted] called us back after almost three months ( 08-07-13) stating we did not clean out his dryer vent properly because he never heard a machine going like he did when we cleaned out his neighbors downstairs. I tried to send a truck back to his home within a few working days from our phone conversation, but **. [redacted] said he was not available until a Saturday, which I gave him. Our technician went back on saturday 08-24-13 and cleaned his dryer vent once again just like it is suppose to be cleaned out. We used rotary poles which extend's from one end to the other. We tried to explain to **. [redacted] that his dryer vent was cleaned properly in May and again last week, but he did not want to hear this. We did a quality job twice for **. [redacted], so we do not feel that a refund is necessary.
