Asbetsos.com has provided my family with information, support and resources. There was no pressure to file a claim. When we did decide to file ,the process was completely arranged around our loved ones schedule and preference. What we learned about asbestos is incredible and we are very pleased that funds will go toward awareness and research.

I spoke with Daniel regarding how best to search for a doctor that specializes in Mesothelioma regarding causes symptoms and questions.
Almost fell off my chair when she answered my questions in an outstanding calm manner including offering me a couple of avenues to consider.
I cannot imagine how frightened some callers must be and fear hearing a uninterested person when they call about a health problem - not the case with Daniel.
Unusual and appreciated.
Thank you

The mesothelioma support group online that Karen S and Cara the therapist (sorry I can't think of her last name) have once a month is one thing I look forward to during my fight with this disease that has taken over my life. Hearing others journeys and that some are doing well gives me hope. Karen is excellent about reaching out and giving help when you let her know you need something. She has called me more than once and is a wonderful supportive person.

After the sudden death of our dad, 12/9/2018 to Stage III Thesothelioma, our world changed in a way we never imagined. I do not usually complete on line forms for information. I did this time and so thankful. I received a phone call from Amy P the next day and we talked. She is an amazing individual, so genuine and sincere! She listened to everything I said and believe me I told her everything!! Amy connected me with another great individual to further discuss what our options would be. Our dad served over 13 years in the British Airforce. This is almost 50 years ago! Stunned does not describe how we all felt at that moment and still to this day. Amy has stayed in touch with me consistently since our first phone call. Amy and her organization have the connections needed to help you navigate through whatever you may need when you and your family are given the diagnosis of "Thesothelioma" for a loved one. Thank you Amy P, you are amazing and words cannot express the gratitude our family and I have!

When I was recently diagnosed with mesothelioma I soon began to search the VA website to see if there was any assistance/guidance in relation this rare cancer. While on that site I came across the Mesothelioma Center and decided to contact it. I was answered very quickly by a Mr. Aaron M who graciously forwarded to me a packet of information pertaining to Veterans Assistance. The information was both helpful and encouraging but I was not sure if I wanted to both with the VA given the not-so-good publicity it has received over the last couple of years. I hesitated but thankfully Aaron continued to contact me via email for several month during which I continued to procrastinate. What moved me to begin to act was that he personally called me and encouraged me to read the packet that he had sent me and assured me that he would work with me on my petition for VA disability relief.
It was Aaron's phone call which finally moved me to begin to act on submitting a petition for VA disability. He sent me another package which listed all the documents I needed to submit with my petition. One of the requirements was to provide a detailed work history indicating where I might have been exposed to mesothelioma. Given the fact that I had spent a little over twenty years on active duty in the U.S. Army the requirement was rather daunting but Aaron assisted me time and again as I asked for his council on different points of the biography. Eventually the time came when I could submit the appeal through the local Veteran's Service Officer to the VA.
Even after my submittal Aaron did not break of the communications between us. He continued to be as available as ever, always answering all my questions about the process, and provided both council and encouragement as I was required to go through several medical tests and an in-depth interview by a nurse, all administered by the VA.
Once all the administrative and medical requirements were completed the only thing left for me to do was wait and see if the appeal would be approved or not. During this six month process Aaron remained in contact with me, again, answering all my questions and providing not just guidance but encouragement as well.
I received an answer to my petition in January of this year by my petition for disability being approved by the VA. While I was and still am thankful to the VA I am also just as thankful to Aaron. Reflecting back over that six month period I realized anew that Aaron promptly answered every one of my many many inquiries, allied my concerns and kept encouraging me to be patient and even offered to assist me with an appeal should my petition be initially declined. This action, however, thanks in great part to him, will not now be needed.
I want to acknowledge publicly the invaluable assistance that Aaron has rendered to me over the past six months during this process. Without his personal intercession (the phone call) and repeated encouragement I believe firmly that would not have bothered with the process. In addition, knowing that he was a fellow veteran provided me with even more confidence that he could relate not just professionally but personally to the challenges I faced in the process of filing the petition.
Respectfully submitted

The Mesothelioma Cancer Center has been extremely helpful to us in the weeks since one of our family members has been diagnosed with mesothelioma. Since this is a relatively rare disease, there is a shortage of information available when compared to more common forms of cancer. Our first contact with the Mesothelioma Cancer Center was via chat on their website. They responded by sending an excellent information package which arrived the next day. From there we had several calls with their subject matter experts on a variety of topics. They helped us as we were evaluating oncology services, hospice providers, and legal issues. I highly recommend the Mesothelioma Cancer Center.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. I'm so glad we've been able to help throughout this process. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there is anything we can do. - Cara
I contacted this organization via internet to request a book on nutrition with recipes. Within 5 minutes received a call from Danielle who is a Patient/Family advocate. Had a wonderful conversation about many issues that surround the horrible disease mesothelioma. The very next day, received my dietary book in a organized folder with other valuable information. Danielle also sent me some links to other items of interest that will be very helpful. I am so happy to have stumbled upon this organization and am glad to know this resource is available for future needs. Thanks to Danielle and all the people involved with Asbestos.com for helping patients and families navigate their mesothelioma journey in a positive, intelligent, helpful and hopeful manner.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! I'm so glad Danielle and our team have been helpful. If you ever need anything in the future, please don't hesitate to ask. - Cara
I was desperately seeking information that was NOT just a marketing site. I needed real information from a real person and that information was all over the map from doctors, to attorney, to care giving aid and found so much more. Amy, even though it's only been a week, has already been invaluable to me personally as well as a caregiver. I was empowered with the right questions to ask on behalf of my father and was educated prior to the 1st doctors appointment so that I was able to understand what was happening and what to expect in this new ugly world of cancer. She pointed us in the direction of other caring people and advice. Our situation is in it's early stages and is unclear as to what our chances are. I do feel fortunate that I found this resource for what ever lies ahead.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU AMY!!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so glad Amy has been such a wonderful resource throughout this difficult time. I'll be sure to share your experience with her. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there is anything we can do. - Cara
I recently was diagnosed with having pleural effusion caused by asbestos related scar tissue build up. Upon calling your company, I got in contact with Dr. Snehal S. During the course of diagnosis getting in touch with her was the best thing that could have happened to me. She walked me through the entire prediognostic procedures and explained it in a way that could be easily understood and gratifying. My doctor informed me of the process but many times it was not easy to understand. Dr. S was very professional and called me on a regular basis to see how things are going and put me at ease on many issues that arose. If you have any issues, she is the one to call. She was really a nice person and took the time to assist me. Thank you
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us, William. I'm so glad Dr. S has been able to help throughout this time. - Cara
