I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ONE OF MY TRUCKS ON THE SUSPENSION SO I START LOOKING ONLINE FOR A REPAIR SHOP SPECIALIZED ON SUSPENSION AROUND MY AREA .
SO AFTER I FOUND THEM I CALL AND ASK IF THEY HAVE A LOT OF EXPERIENCE ON SUSPENSION AND THEY SAID YES THEY CAN FIND THE PROBLEM AND FIX IT .
SO I TOOK IT THE SAME DAY.
AFTER THEY INSPECT MY TRUCK THEY SAID I HAVE TO REPLACE A LINK AND TIE RODS AND THAT WILL FIX THE PROBLEM
SO THEY GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE FOR $1692.31 AND I SAID OK TO GO AHEAD AND DO THE REPAIRS
WHEN THEY FINISH WITH THE REPAIRS AND AFTER I PAID THE SAID AND NOTED ON THE INVOICE THAT THE TRUCK STILL HAVE A VERY LITTLE VIBRATION THAT WILL NEED MORE INCEPTION BUT WHEN I TOOK THE TRUCK OUT OF THE SHOP AND START DRIVING IT IT FEELS THE SAME WAY AS WHEN I BRING IT. NO CHANGES , SO I CALL THEM 30 MINUTES AFTER I TOOK THE TRUCK AND THEY SAID TO BRING IT BACK NEXT DAY BECAUSE THEY WERE ABOUT CLOSE .
AND WHEN I BRING IT BACK THEY GIVE ME ANOTHER ESTIMATE TO CHANGE MORE PARTS ( THEY WERE GUESSING AND TRYING TO CHARGE ME MORE MONEY ) AND I SAID NO
I SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM THAT THE REASON THAT I BRING MY TRUCK WITH THEM
AT THIS POINT THEY JUST CHARGE ME OVER $1600 AND MY TRUCK STILL HAVE THE SAME ISSUES

I have reviewed the customers version and as a repair shop we make sure the repairs requested by customers are done and tested before to ensure it is done right and all proper procedures are been taken,.Before any truck or trailer leaves a technician test drives the vehicle with the customer aboard to ensure that repairs have been done according to there request, if there are any findings customers are notified so they can decide to do the repairs or not, if they decide to do the repair an estimate is provided for there approval, no job is done without a signed approval.

The customer for this repair requested for the tie rods to be changed due to a loose tire as specified on the "problem" area in the invoice. After changing the tie rods (left and right) technician reported the following finding, the "Drag link worked out" and also recommended to do a wheel alignment and decided not to do any other repair.It was explained to him the function of each component in the gear box and how the worked out drag link affects the rotation of the tires.

We only do the repairs customers approve, we don't repair, remove or install any parts that have not been requested or approved by customers.

Customer is more than welcome to bring the vehicle back to be checked.

I am rejecting this response because:I STILL HAVE THE SAME ISSUE WITH MY TRUCK THEY CHARGE ME A LOT OF MONEY AND MY TRUCK FEELS THE SAME NO CHANGES AT THIS POINT I DIDN'T KNOW IF THEY REALLY FIXED OR THEY DID A BAD DIAGNOSTIC AND REPLACE PARTS THAT MY TRUCK DIDN'T NEED IT BUT THEY NEVER SHOW ME THE OLD PARTS ALSO WHEN THE TECHNICIAN TEST DRIVE THE TRUCK HE SAID THAT IT WAS FIXED AND ONLY HAVE A LITTLE VIBRATION AND THE TRUCK FEELS THE SAME WHIT NO CHANGES SO WHEN I TOOK IT BACK FOR THEM TO LOOK AT IT THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME MORE MONEY AND CHANGE MORE PARTS

Got an estimate they said $3-4,000 to fix my trailer. Then when my driver went to pick it up the bill was $6,700 they said they had to do more work but never got authorized from me to do so. Also they stated the extra parts was $1,600 and wouldn’t charge any labor so that would equal $5,600 not the $6,700 they were demanding. They would not knock anything off to work with me, on our contract it stated we would be paying with credit card. Then they would not accept credit card payment at the end and demanded cash, they would not release my property to me until they had the $6,700 in full in cash. Their employee drove him to the bank to collect the cash. The lady first told me she was just an employee and a manager would call me back, she called me back stating then she was the manager (it was the same girl) then after said she is the owner. Also it took them an hour to send me over an invoice of the work when I requested to know why there was such a price difference. I have never seen anything like this in my life the way this company operates. She said she has all kinds of court dates from being sued so clearly they do this stuff all the time.

Dear Miss ***,

In response to the complaint letter received in reference to customer *** with Asphalt Services located in city of South El Monte,Ca. for repairs performed on his 2007 Interstate flatbed trailer on 02/28/2020.

An estimate was provided when driver Billy brought it in for repairs he requested, an inspection was done to keep in record all the repairs to be done as requested.

As the technician worked on the trailer he found several problems and before making any repairs customer was contacted via telephone to be explained and for his approval before proceding with any repairs.

All repairs are performed with customers approval only. Asap Truck and Trailer Repair brings all technical, mechanical problems found in any unit to customers attention for further authorizations on to repair or leave as is.

All approvals are kept with customer's work order
