Review: [redacted] did not supply me with a contract as defined by the Pennsylvania Home Improvement Protection Act. It is mandated by law that all contractors who work in Pennsylvania be registered and have an up to date Pennsylvania Home Improvement Registration.
[redacted] has never registered with the Pennsylvania's Attorney's Office of Pennsylvania Home Improvement Protection. He does not have or ever had a valid Pennsylvania Contract Registration number. He did not give me a contract. He did not give me notification of my right of rescission, he asked for and accepted 1/2 down payment, he accepted the final payment before all work was complete. I am over 60 years old which the Pennsylvania Home Improvement Protection Act takes more seriously. All these are violation of the Pennsylvania Home Improvement Protection Act.
I understand that [redacted] has been doing contractor's work in Pennsylvania for many years without being registered.
Angie's list researched [redacted] licensing in all the state he does work in. Angie's List found that not only is [redacted] not registered in Pennsylvania as a contractor, [redacted] is not registered as a contractor in Maryland. Maryland Law requires that all contractors who work in Maryland have a Maryland Home Improvement Commission License. This is a violation of Maryland Law.
Angie's List reached out to [redacted] on November 6th and November 20th, 2013, in efforts to see if he held a Pennsylvania Home Improvement Registration and a Maryland Home Improvement Commission License. Angie's List never received a response. Angie's List List have excluded [redacted] and company from all category searches on the List and revoked His advertising privileges.
Pennsylvania and Maryland take these violations very seriously.Desired Settlement: I expect that the Revdex.com research these violations of Pennsylvania and Maryland Law. Place a notification in the Revdex.com file of [redacted] to the effect that he has violated the Pennsylvania and Maryland Laws. Also request that any and all customers demand that [redacted] be a registered contractor in the state he is doing contracting work in.
I would hope that the Revdex.com would take these violations very seriously and do whatever is required to protect and inform consumers from [redacted] unlawful activities.
