not true, fender called me a week or more before thanksgiving, then said they would be back in touch, since then not one word to me, my phone does not have voice mail turned on nor does it have an answering machine or text, but it would show missed called and it did not happen.I have probably months and lord knows how many letters to get to this point in to Fender, from Fender saying this was not a warranty item because pitting was a natural occurence in their guitar necks wood to this, they have called a repair shop because I called the shop to see if fender had been in touch, but as of last week the guitar had not been sent to the repair shop and the neither has the repair shop or Fender called methe repair shop was just waiting on fender to get it to themsince the guitar has been at the dealer for so long I was forced to buy another guitar to continue my lessons, I have no idea where Fender stands on this warranty work but I sure would like to have a positive outcome soon

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by Fender in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meFender has indeed sent a replacement amplifier, apologized for the misunderstanding and included some guitar strings, guitar straps and t-shirts as a token of good faithThis restored my confidence in their customer service and that they stand behind their productsI consider this issue resolved and want to thank the Revdex.com for protecting me and other consumers and keeping things fair Regards, [redacted]

Mr [redacted] story continues to evolve, as he is now asserting a defect, (please refer to the original thread of correspondence)Regardless, we are certainly prepared, as I said in my first correspondence, to address any defect found in the product under warranty Let me reiterate All Squier instruments are covered by a Limited Year warrantyIt covers defects in manufacturingIn the case of an asserted defect, the warranty clearly describes the method required to receive warranty serviceOnce again, we would encourage Mr Pamelio to read the verbiage in the warrantyAll warranty verbiage is also posted on Fender’s website at: http://www2.fender.com/support/articles/fender-product-warranty-information/?sec... As I said in my first response, if Mr P [redacted] believes that there is a defect in manufacturing he need only bring the instrument to an Authorized Fender Service Center with his original sales receipt as proof of purchase for an evaluation and if any defect is found, it will most certainly be addressed under warrantyIf Mr [redacted] needs assistance and direction with finding an Authorized Fender Service Center, he can certainly reach out to Justin S [redacted] again, (the rep who already assisted him), as he will be happy to help in any way he can( [redacted] Once again, if Mr [redacted] brings the instrument to a qualified Authorized Fender Service Center and it is found that the instrument is not performing to its design specification, any defects will be addressed under the terms of the warranty

*** ***Basically Fender is saying that I want to return the item strictly because I have an aversion to the active electronics featureThat is NOT TRUEIf in fact the only reason was the battery, I can afford a batteryAS I MENTIONED IN THE COMPLAINT, WHEN I REPLACED THE BATTERY IT WORKED IMMEDIATELY, THEN FIVE MINUTES LATER IT DID NOTIT IS AN INTERMITTENT PROBLEM AND FENDER REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE ITFURTHERMORE, THEY REFUSE TO ADMIT THIS IS THE CHEAPEST-MADE BASS THEY HAVE AND THE ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT BOARDS ARE CHEAPLY MADE.THAT IS A FACT THAT THE QUALITY FENDERS ARE MADE IN THE U.S.ATHIS BASS IS MADE IN MEXICO

Fender reached out to Mr *** on the 29th of MarchAfter reading the complaint, it was clear that there was some inaccurate information communicated to Mr *** by the Service Center regarding warranty coverage on the amplifierThis lead him to believe that it was not covered under
warranty, when if fact it wasWe clarified the coverage to Mr *** and sent him a replacement amplifier under the terms of the warranty

We are happy to address Mr ***'s concernsOne of our agents reached out to Mr *** last week and left him a voicemail last weekWe have not had a return call from Mr ***If Mr *** will contact Chase M*** of Fender Consumer Relations directly at *** *** ***,
we'll be happy to direct him to a resource to take care of the issue with his guitar

Let me reiterate All Squier instruments are covered by a Limited 1 Year warranty. It covers defects in manufacturing. In the case of an asserted defect, the warranty clearly describes the method required to receive warranty service. Once again, we would encourage Mr Pamelio to read the verbiage in the warranty. All warranty verbiage is also posted on Fender’s website at: http://www2.fender.com/support/articles/fender-product-warranty-information/?sec...  As I said in my first response,  if Mr P[redacted] believes that there is a defect in manufacturing he need only bring the instrument to an Authorized Fender Service Center with his original sales receipt as proof of purchase for an evaluation and if any defect is found, it will most certainly be addressed under warranty.
