Armstrong McCall Beauty Supply

On February 25, 2020 one bottle of Moroccan Oil shampoo and one bottle of Moroccan Oil conditioner was purchased from the Armstrong McCall in Lewisville for resale to a customer of mine. My customer tried the product and was unhappy with the results of the product as compared to use of the same product in the past. I attempted to exchange the product on March 4, 2020 and was told by the store manager that they would not be able to except an exchange on defective product since the product was open. I asked to speak with the owner of the store and was initially refused the opportunity to speak directly with anyone above the manager. the "owner" spoke with the manager and I was offered an exchange if a 25% restock fee was paid. They stated that their store policy is returns and exchanges must be done in 24 hours for full credit. The return and exchange policy is unfair and unrealistic when they serve the professional beauty community and no product would typically be used or resold and used in 24 hours. Armstrong McCall corporate office was contacted and I am waiting on resolution from them. The store manager and direct contact above the manager where rude and lacked all basic customer service skills.
