Review: I was involved in an accident in 12/28/12 & my insurance company gave this company as a place to have car repaired. Car repairs were completed on 1/24/13. Man behind the counter told me that the repairs were guaranteed for life. In the fall of 2014 a piece of trim on the passenger rear door had fallen off the car. I honestly ignored it for quite awhile - just not wanting to take the time to go back to Arlington but remembering that it was guaranteed for life. I finally was reminded by a friend that water & snow was getting into the door because the trim was no longer there so I decided to stop at Arlington. The same man that had told me the repairs were guaranteed for life - told me it has been 2 yrs since the repairs were made and he would have to check with the owner of the company? So lifetime is under 2 years? He implied that my car had been involved in an accident - I told him I was not in an accident - not since 12/12. There were a few shopping cart rubber type marks on the rear quarter panel but I was not hit - there was no damage to my car - just this trim strip that was missing. I was told that they would not honor their warranty & they would not install a new trim strip. He actually asked me where the trim strip was & asked me why it fell off?! I can only assume it wasn't installed properly or it wouldn't have fallen off. There was a trim strip on the passenger front door that was installed by the same company - it is still there. Also the rear quarter panel was never attached properly making the panel protrude beyond the top panel. It can be popped back in with your hip but only stays in temporarily. I noticed it from the day after I picked the car up on 1/24/13 but it didn't affect the driving of the car & the weather was so bad that I didn't want to bother with it.Desired Settlement: I would like the trim strip on the rear passenger door replaced. I would like the rear quarter panel attached properly so that it doesn't stick out beyond the top.

(am writing back on behalf of Arlington Auto Center for the incident of [redacted] and her 2009Honda Pilot. We repaired Ms [redacted]’s vehicle on 1-24-2013 and she did NOT have an~ zomplaints at thattime of picking her car up. The first time I heard that there was a problem was a couple of weeks ago when shestopped in to have us take a look at it. Upon inspecting the car we noticed that the quarter : panel and rearbumper were scuffed up due to another accident. There were shopping cart dings on the door that the trim stripfell off of. Ms [redacted] said that she bumped the side of the garage with her car. We can at guarantee ourrepairs when the car was involved in another accident It she would have tape the trim piece to the car orstopped in immediately the trim could have been saved and reattached. Ms [redacted] car contacted Erie insuranceto. and they told her the same thing, they can not guarantee the car when it was involved another accidenL Iam willing to fix the trim for free” painting it and installing it” if Ms [redacted] pays for the part.
