We had an awful move with this company. They sent a truck that was too small,. They did significant damage to our dining room table, and lost $1900 worth of sporting equipment. The truck sent to our move was about half the size it should have been, despite two calls prior to our move describing the size of our home, patio and storage unit. Resulting in two trips to move our stuff, significantly running up the cost of the move. Following our move we went to sit at our table we noticed it was really unstable, as we moved it we could feel large chunks out of the underside of the table. The table had been damaged in the move but rather than coming to me to report the damage at the time the movers put the legs back on and hid what they had done. Now after reporting the table damage they did (after several phone calls and a few weeks) have the table repaired. When the guy came to do it and took the legs off the table I was shocked at the level of damage these guys had done. It looked like they had just ripped the legs off the table rather then even try to unscrew it. For someone to be so deceitful that they felt this was ok to hide and not report is just one example of the dishonesty of this company. However the next is even better, during our move my husbands golf clubs were “lost”. We noticed this the next day. We called and reported it hoping very much the clubs would turn up. We were given every excuse in the book for where these clubs could have gone. Finally when we pushed for answers they told us to call the police! If you hire these guys you just may end up getting to file a police report! (so glad we used “professional” movers!) In the end we did have to file a police report and file a claim with our own home owners insurance to recover the $1900 loss as we were never compensated for the loss of the clubs. Our movers took about a 45-60 min off site break that day, when I later looked at my bill I realized we were charged moving time for that hour. Making for an hour of unaccounted for time to the company, I suspect it was during this hour that the clubs were “misplaced”. We were never compensated for this time. I have noticed this company has all kinds justifications for their behavior. I am no longer interested in their excuses and dishonesty but PLEASE as another consumer skip these guys, they ran up the cost of our move, they damaged furniture and hid it, they lost items and took no responsibility. As for their A+ with the Revdex.com, not worth anything, the only issue the Revdex.com would recognize was the damaged table, they can get out of the up charging and "loss" with their moving contract.

ADM has informed [redacted] that we will indeed pay out the submitted claim as agreed. [redacted] also agreed to rescind the Revdex.com complaint PRIOR to ADM mailing him the check. Helped sister-law move into a new apartment...I live in Louisville Kentucky and set up every detail via long distant phone...Stephanie was attentive and explained every detail...set up the move...on moving day everything happened just as prescribed by Stephanie...on time, in time frame discuss and best of all at the exact cost quoted.

I highly recommend these guys! We needed to load a shipping container to go overseas, and we were just going to do it ourselves, but when the container arrived, it was the kind you needed a ramp for, and they didn’t provide the ramp! We had only 2 days to fill it and we had no way to do it, and Az Discount Movers was willing to come out short notice and they did a great job! Darrelle and Dido came to our rescue on time, with all the right gear and a ready to work attitude. They did a top notch job packing and they were clean and professional. They worked hard and didn’t give up when things got challenging. We even had a few laughs. Their prices don’t break the bank either! Az Discount movers saved our hide that week and we will forever be grateful! Good people! If you are on the fence about who to call, you won’t be disappointed with this company.

Thank you for the opportunity to reply. As indicated by our valued Customer an excessive amount of response time was experienced. However, as shared with our Customer, she actually did not send in the damage claim form. We received photos but no claim form as clearly indicated in the email chain I...

personally shared with the Customer. It was explained to her that a damage claim folder and file is not created until we receive said form. As of this week we did settle the damages according to the valuation claimed on the Bill of Lading with Customer. In addition, we sent her a dinner gift card to compensate her for her time cleaning the sofa and mattress. She was very understanding and appreciative of the final outcome. FYI, the crew leader (driver) who oversaw the move and did not follow strict ADM procedures is no longer employed with us, due to repeated offenses. On 03/09/2016 Arizona Discount Movers was indeed 1.5 hours late for the move, not 3 hours as claimed. Though uncommon, there are...

times when a morning job takes longer than anticipated, and the following job may become delayed. The recorded conversation of Ms. [redacted] first call has her saying “no problem” when told that the crew was running late. The move was indeed completed successfully for Ms. [redacted], which is evidenced by her numerous signatures on the Bill of lading. The move took 2.5 hours, at $70 per/hour, to complete, plus a one time travel fee of $70. The total bill for services was $245.00, which is exactly the amount of the estimated price quoted to her the day before. Services were rendered smoothly and at no time were any complaints or damages noted or communicated to us by Ms. [redacted].      On 04/01/2016 William M[redacted] at Arizona Discount Movers received a call from a Merchant Services Representative inquiring what the $175.00 services were for. Also on the line was Ms. [redacted], which made it a 3-way call. Upon William’s truthful response, Ms. [redacted] abruptly hung up the phone. The Merchant Services Representative then replied “Well, I guess she knows what the services were for”.     We received the Dispute Notification in the mail on 04/05/2016 (Reason: 75 / Cardholder Does Not Recognize Transaction) which is a non-truth and has nothing to do with any alleged light damage. Amy H[redacted] the Owner of ADM, promptly called Ms. [redacted] to clarify the accusation. Ms. [redacted] said the reason for the chargeback was because we broke an exterior light at the Apartment Complex that we moved her into, and she was subsequently charged by the Apartment for the replacement. Amy asked her why she did not let us know about it and asked her what the replacement cost was. Ms. [redacted] replied was “I don’t know”. Amy then told her that she would gladly send her a damage claim form and pay for the light if she would rescind the chargeback. Ms. [redacted] was told that a frivolous chargeback such as this had virtually no chance of fruition. Ms. [redacted] did not reply and hung up the phone. She then called back and spoke with Stephanie V[redacted], one of our Sales Representatives, to inform her that she is going to file a complaint with the Revdex.com, because we were rude and unprofessional (all recorded calls prove otherwise decisively), and she was going to contact her Attorney.     Jay Robers, the General Manager, then called The Turn Apartments (Ms. [redacted] residence) to inquire about the damaged light and replacement costs. He was told by the sales person there that a small exterior light globe was indeed replaced, but the $5.00 cost was NOT charged to Ms. [redacted].      If requested, we can provide a legal recording of every conversation mentioned above. At no time was any ADM employee rude or disrespectful to Ms. [redacted]… ever. As a side note, the chargeback she filed with the CC Company was denied immediately upon our truthful response. I was looking online for a moving company that could move our friend, who's husband is hospitalized with cancer. I wanted to make sure I picked a company that would give her excellent service to lessen her burden. After reviewing companies, going on their websites, reviewing Better Business files I decided to join [redacted] to help me narrow down my selection. That is where I found Arizona Discount Movers. They had an A rating with the BB, an A rating with [redacted] and received the [redacted] Super Service Award for 2012.

I contacted them and from my first call to [redacted], to schedule the move (less than one week to move) to our last call from [redacted] ,the scheduler, to confirm the job was done to our satisfaction we got nothing but EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. Amy the owner went above and beyond to make sure the move was painless for our friend. [redacted] and [redacted], the movers were on time, professional and did a FASTASTIC job. I will recommend Arizona Discount Movers to anyone I know that needs to move. Amy, THANK YOU AND YOUR STAFF for a smooth move for our friend [redacted] God Bless you and your team.

I am a repeat customer and once again I'm am pleased. My wife and I are retired and very picky. We love AZD Movers because they always take there time with us. This is our 3rd move with them and they did an outstanding job. Darrell and James arrived at scheduled time and moved our home with excellence. There were no scratches or damage because the guys used pads and shrink wrap, plus they were very polite. My wife also wanted to mention Mr. Darrell loves to smile and sing while he works. The guys soared through the home with ease. I Highly recommend this company because the staff is great and knows the business. Thank you for the opportunity to respond accordingly. We perform approximately 4000 moves per year and maintain an A rating. This is not to say we are perfect, but we do take responsibility for our valued Customers and always fulfill our contractual obligations and quite often, in good faith, go above and beyond our obligations as indicated in the following narrative.

The Customer did mention that her antique desk was damaged, but she failed to mention that it only had very minor scratches. She also failed to mention that we delivered it to our furniture restoration expert, had it repaired, (this include marks and scratches that were pre-existing) and delivered it back to her. In regards to her TV, she contacted ADM ten (10) days after the move to let us know that, upon plugging it in, a break in the screen was revealed. Even though the time lapsed was excessive, and opened speculation as to how the damage may have occurred, we moved forward with the claim. We promptly calculated the inherent value of the TV using our multiple electronics depreciation calculators, based on the age (almost 6 years old) and model of the TV. We reimbursed the customer $100, which was actually almost double the current value of the TV, and provided her a $50 gift card as well. Please keep in mind that we are only contractually obligated to the valuation chosen by the Customer on the Bill of Lading, which is the industry standard of 30 cents per/lb per article. Based on said valuation we are only contractually obligated to reimburse her less than $40 for the two items. Yet in good faith we have provide almost $250 (45% of the total move) towards her claim.

We feel that the settlement presented to Ms. [redacted] is fair and we hope that she will stand by the conscious decisions she made on the day of the move regarding replacement valuation... she opted for no additional insurance.

To begin, all recorded calls are done so legally and they are all available to review, if requested, to show that at no time was anyone at ADM rude or unprofessional to our valued Customer. Damage claim forms are systematically sent out when a Customer contacts us to report a damage. However, we were never contacted by our Customer. We contacted her 3 weeks after the move to respond to her frivolous credit card chargeback we received in the mail. I say frivolous because the credit card company immediately denied her chargeback upon our truthful response. At this point our Customer then informed us that she was charged by the apartment community for an exterior light broke by our moving crew, and she wanted compensation. We then promptly called the apartment rental office, but only to inquire about paying any fees for the alleged broken light. The sales associate there informed us that our Customer was not, and would not be charged any fees at all for the broken globe on said light. This was the second time our Customer was not truthful with us, assumedly for monetary gain, and the second time the truth (or lack of) was revealed. We apologize for any inconvenience our Customer may have experienced, and hope only the best for her in her future endeavors.

I recently moved to [redacted] and it was a positive experience. Everyone was helpful and professional from [redacted] the manager to the movers themselves. The move went smoothly, right on schedule, and no significant damage to any items.

My wife and I sold our home more quickly than expected and needed to move our belongings out of the house on short notice. From my overseas duty station, I contacted four moving companies in the Valley and only AZ Discount Movers got back to me. I received a quote within an hour of the start of their business day and was on the phone with William shortly after. He explained exactly what would be done and how long it *should take, which has been illustrated by other positive reviews. I had a few days to think about it and try to work with my military personal property movers but I made an appointment just in case the my property would have needed to go to storage before my return. I called again and spoke with Jay, who was able to schedule a pickup with three workers just five business days before the move! I was finally able to schedule my move through the military and no longer required the services of AZ Discount Movers. I called Jay and was able to cancel just one business day before my scheduled pickup. Throughout this rather stressful process and from the other side of the world, AZ Discount Movers was ready and willing to make this as stress free as possible on my wife and I. The customer service I received was incredible and based on my experience with William and Jay, I would definitely recommend AZ Discount Movers.

From the first phone call to the movers departure, this company demonstrated that customer satisfaction is their top priority. Estimates were easy to understand, movers were on time and very easy to work with and they treated each item as if it was priceless. We will use this company again and recommend them to family and friends.

We contracted with Arizona Discount Movers to load our belonging of a three bedroom house and relocate them to a house 9 miles away. The moving personnel, Eddie, Steve and Ricardo, arrived and went immediately to work. They joked along the way, putting us at ease. They treated the items in the house professionally and quickly loaded the entire household of goods into the truck. They had the right equipment and supplies to treat our household items well with no breakage or damage. We went to our new house and they just as quickly and professionally unloaded the truck, putting furniture and boxes where we requested. We felt they treated as we would expect from a service company and would recommend them. We were impressed that all of the men had worked for the same company for a number of years and were experienced, which showed in their handling of our household goods. I wouldn't even give this company one star. a few months back we called asking around for prices to move a 900lbs safe. Amy was nice on the phone but besides that we would never use them again. they came with only two guys and a hand dolly to move our safe. they ended up putting deep scratches on the side and we are still trying to get them to pay for the damage. we sent in a damage report and NEVER heard back from anyone. and we called to make sure they received our email. If you have nice furniture or anything I would not use this company! they never even gave us the $80.00 we put down. we are very surprised they did not break the tile in the house we had already SOLD!!! I also have a picture of what these two men did to our safe!

Excellent company. The movers were super, did the packing, moving and setting up in a timely manner, very kind men. The price quoted was what we paid. A company worth hiring!

However, your demands for a full refund of the move are unreasonable at best. As you very well know, you opted to NOT purchase any additional (full coverage) insurance on the original [redacted] of lading and signed for the industry standard valuation of 60 cents per/lb per/article. Again, we are willing...

to go above and beyond our contractual obligations and follow through as indicated below. Please allow us to address your damages accordingly and move forward to resolve the issues at hand. We will have have our restoration professional call you to set up a time, at your convenience, for him to come out to your residence and appropriately address your furniture damages. He is an outside professional restorer who is extremely talented, experienced and reputable. Also, we will reimburse you for the ironing board and send you a new base for the TV. However, if you so desire to have your own repair man address the repairs we will adhere to the signed [redacted] of lading and pay the valuation, which you opted for, of 60 cents per/lb per/article for the damages. The said evaluation would be as follows:Office desk, 110lb Footboard, 35lb Sewing machine, 5lb Consule table, 15lb, Ironing board, 5lb Bookcase, 140lb TV base, 5lb Night stand, 20lb File, 30lb Coffee table, 20lb File cab, 30lb Buffet, 110lb  - Total 525lb X .60 = $315.00The issue at hand is in regards to addressing the said damages according to the valuation chosen by [redacted]. She had the option to purchase additional full coverage insurance, but did not. The signed [redacted] of lading attests to exactly that. In good faith ADM informed her that we will go above and beyond to repair the damages… yet she refused. We also informed her that we would pay the 60 cents per/lb per/article, as stipulated in the signed [redacted] of lading… and again she refused. Steadfastly and unreasonably she insists we must reimburse her the full amount of the move ($945.00) so that she can fix the damages herself. (The realistic cost to repair all of the damages would not exceed $315.00) Even so, the services rendered for the move are a separate issue/transaction from the damage claim altogether. If [redacted] refuses to be reasonable we will resort to sending her a check for the $315.00 valuation.
