Numerous construction deficiencies on our recent Patio and Deck project:
1. Missing 2 trim parts.
2. Lighting installation- No light bulbs.
3. Siding was installed with cut (multiple) pieces of Versatex rather
than in whole lengths.
4. Siding attached (white Versatex) was not the same color as the siding
contractor removed.
5. Two posts installed contractors are not installed properly.
6. One stairway handrail has visible screws installed on the exterior.
“Superior 200 Series when properly installed properly has no visible
screws.”
7. Siding corners not securely fastened and already separating
8. Decking was not caulked properly to the structure’s brick siding.
9. Concrete splatter on window wells and side fencing was not removed.
10. New Azek Decking is not level.
11. Deck wood framing not sealed per contract “Scope of work”.
12. Contractor left contruction debris, tools and equipment for weeks,
while taking a vacation and ordering parts due to his construction
errors.
13. Contractor smoked cigarettes and threw them all over property.
Found empty cigarette pack stuffed down a fence post.
