Delivery will be 1.5 weeks later than promised on original order. Would not cancel order once the delay was realized.
Gave original estimated delivery window of oct 30 - nov 1 when ordering. Tried to cancel on 28th when I checked eta and found it would not ship unit Nov 8. They didnt even notify of delay, I checked to find out. Company refused to cancel saying the date given in orginal orders are only an estimate, eventhough the order clearly shows "estimated delivery" as the orginal date.

Desired Outcome

If I can not get refund, atleast keep them from misrepresenting when items are ordered, and giving excuses as to why the orginal estimated delivery date is not really what customers should expect.

Charge was refunded after claim was made with Revdex.com, thanks for your intervention.

There must be a full refund I purchased on june,12,2019 in the
Amount of $1124.43 but I got partial refund of $899.54 minus 20% restocking fee
$224.96
Dear Revdex.com

There must be a full refund for the merchandise I purchased on June,12,2019 in the amount of
$1124.43 from architectural Depo. Base on their return policy "Exhibit C2" up on receiving The
Merchandise on July,15,2019 I contacted the merchant in timely manner (72 hours) period.
The item was Incorrect and misleading (faded color and fake appearance) foam nothing like siding wall that merchant was advertising on their web side. Please refer to " Exhibit AA, A"
Therefore, please revers the partial refund of $899.54 to a full refund of $1124.43 that I originally paid.
Plus cost me $200 to return the item back to the merchant who's operating a scam company.
Please don't let me loose more by paying another $224.96 for restocking fees.

*** Thank you

Desired Outcome

I need the architectural Depo refund me in full of another $224.96 . They were dishonest misleading with their product they send me the siding panel which they advertising on their website it is not the same thing the same image they are running a completely scam company. I placed the order on June,11,2019 After a long waiting the item was dropped by my door on july,15,2019 without me Being there to accept the shipment and sign it. Please refer to exhibit C & C1 under 30Days price protection Guarantee, they indicate that they sell quality products at the competitive price and we back our prices with a full price protection Guarantee.

Product photo on site did not represent the actual product received.
I purchased $497.00 of house running trim from this company based on the photo they put online. (Order no. XXXXXXX, X-XX-XX). The product that arrived was distorted & did not look like the photo. I immediately called the company to request a return & to have the correct material shipped. I sent several photos of the product that arrived as well as the photo on their website. After numerous emails, the company told me that, yes - the product was distorted, but that was a result of their manufacturing process. If this material had looked like the photo, I would not have been looking to return it. I requested that it be replaced with the correct material & was informed that this was a "custom" order & could not be returned! .
I finally contacted PAYPAL on October 15th in an attempt to get this resolved. At that time, I was informed not to contact the merchant & they would resolve the issue. Since that time I have received response from PAYPAL saying that they do not cover this purchase

Desired Outcome

I would like to receive an "undistorted" version of this running trim. I was informed that the 6" size required them to make adjustments in manufacturing that created the distorted view. I would like to receive a size that is NOT distorted & get refunded the difference, if any.

ArchitecturalDepot.com Response • Nov 01, 2019

Hello ***,

It was great talking with you the other day. After reviewing your photos and putting them side by side with Ekena Millwork's advertised photos of the product it appears the product that you received is in fact correct for a 6" scale. I believe that PayPal was also able to review your concerns and agreed you received the correct item.

I understand you were looking for the compact design of the 4" trim, not the 6" trim. If you would like to order the 4" trim, I would be happy to help you get those on order for a discounted rate.

If you have additional photos or information, I would be happy to review those and help in any way I can.

Thank you

Customer Response • Nov 12, 2019

Can you please tell me why this case was closed & what the resolution was? I paid almost $500 for a product that was mis-advertised and that I cannot use. This type of business advertising should be under great scrutiny & is not acceptable.

Thank you .

ArchitecturalDepot.com Response • Nov 18, 2019

Hello ***,

Thank you for your response. We did review your photos side by side with the advertised photos from Ekena Millwork, which are the same photos advertised on our website, it appears the product you received aligns with the 6" scale that was ordered.

The photos you had provided of what you were looking for is for our 4" scale. If you would like to order the 4" trim, I would be happy to help you get those on order for a discounted rate.

If you have additional photos or information, I would be happy to review those and help in any way I can.

Thank you,
-Kimberly

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Architectural Depot stated that what I received was identical to the manufacturer's pictures WHICH WAS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT THEY ADVERTISED ON THEIR OWN SITE. They did not show a picture on their website of a "skewed" design they showed a photo from the manufacturers website that was a different size & was NOT skewed. Again the photo on Architectural Depot's website WAS NOT what I received. See attached Photo

They also stated that Paypal agreed with them regarding this product. That was not true. Paypal did not handle this claim because they do not handle disputes involving "custom order" purchases. See attached file.

Purchased "paintable shutters" paint would not adhere to the portion of ONE shutter painted. Advised company they would not accept return.
Purchased "paintable shutters" paint would not adhere to the portion of ONE shutter painted. Advised company they would not accept return. I specifically purchased an expensive*** exterior vinyl paint. The company stated there are instructions in the box from the manufacturer. The shutters came in 2 separate cardboard boxes without any directions in them. Moreover, if you are selling "paintable shutters" but a specific paint is needed that should be specified in its description on their website.
Thank you, Lori E

Desired Outcome

Be more specific in the description of the product prior to sale. Paintable is paintable Period.

Be warned!!! There's nothing more to this company then their website (It's a complete facade), all of the products listed they 1. don't manufacture 2. don't own 2. Have zero ownership or accountability for 3. Pray you don't have an issue because customer service is non-existent.

Ordered 6 samples of faux beams to ensure proper color and texture and then ordered $2500+ worth of beams on 7/2/19 received the beams on 7/26/19 and they were the wrong color based on the sample ordered off of. As a result it's been a complete debacle over the past 2 weeks in trying to remediate with countless phone calls, emails etc.

Bought item, it is different than the advertised item on web site.
Kimberly Reimer replied asking for photo to show issue. All they have to do is look at the item on the shelf and compare it to web site.
But sent in photos.
No reply since.
Sent many emails asking why we are being ignored.
No reply.
Order number XXXXXX
Really bad customer service.

Desired Outcome

Return all items bought since they don't match per web site. Can't reply and help.

Paid for product and was told it would ship on 4/30. Have been trying to get it shipped since May 6th, but company can't get me information or prod.
Ordered and paid for product on 4/15/19 (order #XXXXXX). On 4/16 recieved and e-mail update that it was assigned to a warehouse and would be shipped on 4/30 (they would send tracking information at that time). On 5/6, I e-mailed to see where the order was (no information and it should have shipped). Received an e-mail saying there was a delay and it would ship on 5/9. I called in on 5/8 and was later sent an e-mail assuring me it would ship out on 5/9. I responded asking if they could expedite shipping due to delay and never heard back. I followed up on 5/10 to be told there still isn't a tracking number. I called and spoke to a manager (Andrew at ext *** and was told that he would call first thing Monday to see what was going on and would get back to me. On Monday (5/13), I called at 4 pm after hearing nothing and left a message. Andrew called back 20 minutes later and told me the warehouse isn't returning his call, so he is having his manager call and he would call me with an update on 5/14. Here it is 5/14 and I haven't heard anything. I feel like this company has taken my money and is refusing to get me my product or any real update on it. Just a big run around.

Desired Outcome

I would like someone from their executive office to call me (I'm a VP and know it is the only way to enforce changes when these types of issues happen). I want and need this product - it's too late in a project to start over, so I want it delivered and would appreciate some type of compensation for the significant delays and wasted time

I placed an order for 13 pairs of exterior shutters (order #XXXXXX) on 8/23/18. The order was delivered over the course of two days on 8/6/18 and 8/7/18. I called the business directly on 8/9/18 and expressed my displeasure with every item in the shipment due to poor quality of the product. I was told a return order with instructions would be processed, which it was not. I followed up on 8/13 with the company directly and spoke to Cody. Again I was told a return order with instructions would be processed, however once again it was not. I followed up on 8/20 and spoke with Katie. Katie generated the return order, however there were instructions that violated the companies own return policy. First the finish on the product was horribly applied, and I therefore can not use the product. The company is charging a 20% restocking fee, which they state in their return policy is only applicable in cases of "damage or when the item is no longer needed." The fact that the product is in terrible condition due to poor manufacturing should fall into the "damaged" category, not to mention the shutters purchase include a 25 year warranty on the finish. I contacted Katie via email on 8/20 and did not receive a response. I called the company on 8/21 and spoke to cody, who transferred me to a supervisor. I left a voicemail for the supervisor, but my call was never returned. The bottom line is I received a product that can not be used because it is defective.
Product_Or_Service: Exterior vinyl shutters
Order_Number: XXXXXX

Desired Outcome

Refund The product I purchased is not usable due to its poor manufacturing. I would like a full refund of my purchase of $589.42. If the company would like the product back I would gladly ship them back - AT THEIR EXPENSE. I will not pay a shipping fee on a product that should be placed in a dumpster. I also will not pay a restocking fee when the product should not have been shipped in the first place.
