Review: We purchased two custom made entry door systems from Archispec for our new home, approximately 2 years ago. Almost immediately we began having problems with the operation of the doors. The hardware frequently does not engage and the hinge covers have never been installed because we were told they are too difficult to remove if we need to adjust the doors. The owner, [redacted] was on site about a year ago, but only after dozens of phone calls and email requests for service. He made some adjustments and the doors operated OK for about a week and then the problems started again. We have been calling and sending email requests to Archispec countless times over the last several months with no response.

The Archispec web site states: Whether adapting an existing design or creating a challenging new product, our commitment is the same: to meet our clients highest expectations for design, workmanship, materials and service. They have fallen short on the workmanship and service portion of this statement, we simply want doors that operate properly.Desired Settlement: Entry doors that operate properly whether through repair or replacement.

Per our conversation today, Mr. [redacted] with Archispec, llc contacted me on Friday July 26 to schedule an appointment to assess the work needed to repair our door systems. Mr. [redacted] arrived on time and took care of the necessary adjustments and repairs to our entry door systems correcting the problems that were preventing the doors from closing and locking properly. It appears that the problems have been solved and the doors are now operating properly. Mr. [redacted] was apologetic and very professional. You may close out this complaint at your earliest convenience.
