Arch City Tree Care

We had Arch City Tree Care do some tree work. They removed a large oak tree for us. Part of it was over the house, and our America electric wires. Two of our other trees needed trimming, which they did a great job. They used a bucket truck, dump truck, and a chipper. Our yard was cleaner when they were done, than when they started. They also picked up the pile of branches that we're in my yard, no extra charge. I would recommend them to my family, and my friends. Thanks.

We had a large dead oak tree removed that was over our house and garage, and they had a big bucket truck that was used making the job look quit easy, these guy know what there doing, , also had a chipper truck on site witch made clean up go quickly, they were on time and did a very professional job, I will use arch city tree service for all me arborist needs and I would defenetly recommend at arch city to friends and family.

Michael, the owner was very quick to come give me a estimate on the tree work I wanted done. He’s was cheaper than the other bids I had allready gotten. He was insured, so I give Arch City Tree the job.
They were at my house doing the job two days later as they said they were. They have a bucket truck, chipper, another dump truck. But there was no damage at all. Thanks Arch City Tree. I would recommend them to my friends or my family.

Arch city tree service has removed 3 very large oak trees in the range of 40 inch in diameter and 80 plus feet tall. *** did a fantastic job, they definitely are well equipped with a bucket truck, chipper, great saws etc. they are very safely oriented. There was no mess are damage to any thing. Mike and Chelsea were very nice to talk with and they aim to please the customer.100%. If you need tree service I would highly recommend there service you will be glad you did.

Arch City Tree Service was contracted to remove a dead tree from an adjoining neighbor’s property. On October 12, 2017 the company came and cut down the tree and left the debris at the base of the tree.
The following day they returned to remove the debris and grind the stump out. My husband happened to be outdoors and was approached by *** to see if he could back down our driveway to remove the debris, as this would make the removal of the debris much closer to bring it to the mulcher. My husband did agree. He did tell them that to make sure there was no oil residue left on our driveway that my wife wouldn’t be happy about that issue. So they moved their equipment from the street down our driveway and placed cardboard under the equipment. They completed their work and my husband went out to check on things and discovered that they had backed over one of our sprinkler heads and made a rut on one side of the driveway and on the other side they had driven approximately 10 feet in the yard which made huge ruts. He brought this to *** attention and he was attempting to push the soil back into place with his shoes. My husband did run the sprinkler to check to see if the sprinkler head was damaged and it was not. My husband asked for his business card and said that his wife would have the last say if it the repair was satisfactory. When I got home I went out to inspect the damage and was not happy. I contacted *** and identified myself and where I lived. I explained that I was not happy with the repair he attempted to do and expected that he would return to correct the damage. I discussed that he would need to pick up topsoil to fill the ruts and that I would provide the grass seed. He agreed and stated we would be by Monday, October 16, evening to fix the damage and asked me to call and remind him.
On Monday, October 16, I called and left a voice message about coming by to do the repair. That evening I waited until 7 pm and never saw or heard from him, so I called *** and he had forgotten. He said he would be there Tuesday evening to repair the yard and asked me to call him and remind him during the day.
On Tuesday, October 17, I called to remind him and left him a voice message. I later received a text from *** that said he had forgotten that it was his fiancé’s birthday and he couldn’t make it but he would be there Wednesday evening for sure. I said ok. I would cancel my plans that evening because I wanted to get my yard fixed.
On Wednesday, October 18, my husband then contacted *** and told him that he had done him a favor by letting him use our driveway that he needed to return the favor and make sure he would come on Thursday evening so we wouldn’t have to cancel our Wednesday evening plans. *** did agree and stated he would be there Thursday evening to call and remind him once again.
On Thursday, October 18, I waited until 6:30 and I hadn’t heard or seen *** so I called him. He answered and stated he was at Walmart purchasing dirt and would be at my home shortly. I said ok I will see you soon. When he arrived I stated that I couldn’t believe that he was still in business when he has to ask a customer to call and remind him of an appointment that he had committed to. I also stated that I would have never agreed to allow him to bring his equipment on my property to remove another customer’s job. I also stated that I had understood that he hadn’t even talked to the property owner to ask their permission to approach us for permission to use our property. I also stated that he know when he quoted the job where the tree was located on the property and the distance to move the debris to the street where his equipment would be. He apologized several times but that doesn’t get the damage repaired. He then was going to get out the soil he purchased and I saw that it was potting soil. I said I would not allow him to use that as I wanted top soil on the yard. He said that was all Walmart had and I replied that *** or *** still had top soil in stock, that he needed to return it and purchase the correct material. He said he would get the right soil and be back on Friday. I told him that I was leaving at 3 pm on Friday and I wanted the soil down so I could seed the area before I left. He stated he would be there before 3 pm to do it. He verbally stated that he was setting two reminders in his phone so I would not have to call and remind him.
On Friday, October 19, around 1:30 pm my husband called and stated he had not seen *** or heard from him. I said that I would see if he had been there when I got home. When I arrived home *** had not been there. I was leaving and didn’t have time to call him again.
My neighbor had spoken to my husband about the damage and felt bad. She offered to fix the damage. I told my husband that I didn’t think she should have to do this as it was Mike’s responsibility to fix the damage he caused. She told my husband that if *** didn’t show up by the time I returned from my trip that she would repair the damage.
I returned on Monday, October 23 and my neighbor ended up doing the repair. I still have never heard from *** and I have not contacted him.
I would like to let the public know that this company has poor customer service. They can’t even follow through on what could have been a minor issue and resolved it quickly, but hasn’t. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Also, it is disappointing a business owner has to ask a customer to call and remind him about an appointment he made and then doesn’t show up.
