To Whom It May Concern: Let me start by saying we have a money back guarantee on everything we doOf course we will refund Mrs*** the $I would have handled this directly if Mrs*** would have notified me with the complaint or requestWe were unaware of her being unsatisfiedOur 1st
visit was on December 22, 2017; we were called out to service their plus year old hot water boilerThe boiler had not been maintained so we suggested the annual maintenance be performedMr& Mrs*** agreed and we serviced the boiler, cleaning the burners, adjusting water levels, bleeding air from radiators and several other itemsThis was not a repair only maintenanceWhile working, Mrs*** requested to upgrade their thermostat to a new modelWe explained the thermostat was not causing their problem, but quoted her options to replace and she requested we replace her thermostatWe found that the boiler had a water logged expansion tankThe repair would take a couple of hours so we had to reschedule a time that worked for both of usThe return visit on December 26, we quoted Mr& Mrs*** a price of $to drain down the boiler, drain the expansion tank & refill the entire boiler/radiator system (estimated 1-1/to hours to complete)After draining the boiler down & making the repair we discovered the water pipe feeding the boiler was corroded and restricted, which only allowed a slow flow of water into the boilerThe total time for this repair was six hours, instead of the estimate timeWe use flat rate pricing to protect our clients from these situations so we honored our price of $even though we had four more hours of laborHowever, Mrs*** paid us $which was more than we were chargingShe stated she felt bad it took so long (We adjusted her invoice copy to reflect the higher payment)We also purchased a radiator key for Mr& Mrs*** and gave it to them at no charge so they could maintain & bleed their own radiators on an ongoing basis, which is part of owning an old boiler. We were called out to their house on December 27, 2017, which we went out at no charge, to confirm the boiler was working better than everThe water was not circulating before we serviced it and it was shutting off due to overheating. The boiler was now working perfectly but the ***’s concern was the thermostat now showed the actual temperature and was coasting above the set temperatureWe explained this was with a boiler and will happen especially if they continued to use it only to heat the home in the morning, then shutting it offI’ve tried to explain that the boiler can not be used in the manor that they are trying to use it. They were used to turning the boiler on from a cold start, heating the home up to or degrees and shutting it off to save money. The boiler is designed to maintain a set temperature. When used improperly I can’t guarantee resultsWe have double checked the operation of this boiler more than once and it has been working perfectly the last two times we came to the home. Mr*** even said that the boiler hasn’t worked this well in years. Mrs*** called the following weekend, and spoke to our on call technician and was quoted the emergency service call feeDuring after hours our technicians do not have access to customer accounts to see if a call would be under warranty or notThe complaint reported by our technician was that one of the radiators was not heating up as well as it was. When quoted the service call fee, Mrs *** said never mind. I had left a boiler key with Mrand Mrs*** and let them know that they may have to blead air from radiators again in a week or two, or even on going. This was the last contact we had with Mr& Mrs*** before going straight to the Revdex.comWe thought we went above & beyond to honor our commitment to our clientHowever, in the end we have a money back guarantee and the ***’s refund was sent out today Sincerely, *** *** Owner

In 2015, Arch Air installed new heating and A/C units for us and did a great job. Since we've gotten older, we opted this year to have them do the spring checkup. (HVAC is fine.) Technician Kevin was super efficient and friendly as well as informative. Arch Air now offers duct cleaning. Since we've been in our house more than 30 years and it wasn't new when we bought, it seemed like a good idea. No $35 bait and switch offer. It took three men working for more than five hours to get all the gunk out of our ducts. We saw the pictures, the clean equipment going in, and the dirty going out. Great job, great crew, and well worth the money we spent. Would recommend to anyone thinking about duct cleaning
