If the    coinsumer does not provide a reason if he complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]   in response to these statements I myself talked to elderly mr [redacted] ,my wife did talk to [redacted] about getting a copy of her invoice so she would know the dates that  the spraying took place , because our vegitation is dying on our side of the fence . if you looked at the fence when you came out to talk to [redacted] you would see there is no vegitation 2 to 3 feet on her side of the fence  .a simple trimming on the fence line would have been cheaper and easier than sprayingplus now that it has been sprayed its a major fire hazard . I just dont understand how spraying on her side of the fence is now killing everything on my side of the fence and thats supposed to be acceptable with me . I am a patron at [redacted] store daily ,if she had a problem with the vegitation dont you think  she would talk to me about it ?  if  you think 5000 is too much what do you think my time,investment ,and landscape is worth????

IN previous correspondence I asked you what you thought my time,investment,and landscape was worth. You did not respond or offer a resolution

Mr. [redacted],After speaking to the owner of [redacted] and discussing the issue of your recent visit with her. It was determined that you did not communicate with the owner, but the employee's that are working at the store. As with any business, the employee does not have the authorization to make the decisions regrading their place of employment. Upon visiting with [redacted], she stated that she did not want the cane on her property or on their fence. As stated before, the vegetation control was applied to [redacted] property upon the request of the our customer. She felt it was a fire danger with the approachingForth of July holiday. I would like to help with this matter, however feel that $5000 is out of line on replacing a noxious weed that was sprayed on my customers property. [redacted]-[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:this is a rebutal concerning #[redacted].arbor care says the cain is 2 to 3 feet on [redacted] property that is not true. they said it was a fire hazard. this cain was green till they killed it, now its a fire hazard. I have personally talked with the [redacted] about this problem and  was told they had no problems with  the cain  also the cain is the only vegitation that was sprayed  our honysuckel is also dying .I can provide pictures  to prove all these  statements. please advise me as to wi need to do to continue .phone  calls are better my # is [redacted] thank you

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.    The business has contacted our home telephone and offered a 10% refund, and stated that they are processing it.  Should that refund arrive, it will be acceptable.  However, it is ONLY after the refund is received that the file will be able to be closed.

Dispute Resolution Team,   Arbor Care Inc. was participating in special promotion on [redacted] for a discounted pre-paid tree services in which the customer could purchase a half day service (4 hour) or full day (8 hour). The customer purchased the four hour service for $750.00 through...

Angie’s list.   Arbor Care Inc. scheduled an appointment at the customer’s residence on June 13th to evaluate what was to be done to the trees. However in the meeting it was brought to the arborist attention that what the customer wanted to do would exceed the four hour purchase and there would be additional cost to complete the work. The arborist informed the customer that he would put together a quote and subtract the $750.00 from the total job cost.   A quote was sent to customer via email on June 16th to remove (2) large Water Oaks and prune (1) large Pine a value of $2000.00. The $750.00 was subtracted from that which brought the total to $1531.74 tax included. This cost included one three man crew with loader truck plus one crane and operator to remove the water oaks that were located between the pool and garage in a very tight area with little room to work with.   On June 27th the customer emailed the arborist back and stated she only wanted to do the four hour purchase and just get as much done in that time frame as possible. The arborist was planning on sending the crane to help with the removal the trees to protect the customers property and help with the limited space available to do the work. Unfortunately, the $750 purchase would not cover the cost of having the crane onsite so the arborist needed to revisit the site and re-evaluate how much could be done by hand in that four hour time period. This was to be documented so the customer would know what to expect. This is the busiest time of year and the arborist had not had a chance get back over to the site. The communication between the customer and arborist should have been better and by no means was Arbor Care not going to fulfill its agreement with the customer.  Arbor Care Inc. will fully refund the customers purchase and we apologize for the confusion.
