I would not give 1 Star if Possible.....Contracted with this company in mid January 2020 for install of HVAC unit after receiving estimate. Was asked to re-visit my home to ensure equipment would fit in designated area. After review of the area, Joe said that I would need to make an addition ceiling modification to a certain spec. I did that which was mid February. After telling Joe that this was completed he was given every opportunity to enter the house to complete the project. After 2 delays on Joe's behalf in March for a install date, he said that the 1st week of April would be best. We again agreed. March 22, 202 and I hadn't heard anything back for Joe as to when he would arrive. He then said because of Covid-19 his employees were not coming to work and would need to delay the install. No problem, I totally understand. He then claimed to me that if this were to be pushed back into the summer, heat would be an issue in the attic and he would need to charge me more money for the install due to the temperature. Well that didn't sit right with me. I called him on it, and Joe was very flustered. I can only assume that this job was too much for Joe to handle and pushed me off until I have no choice than to seek out another contractor for the work. I spoke to Joe on the phone who basically told me to sue him over breech of contract if I didn't like it. He didnt care! Well how does that make a homeowner feel when he clearly states "He Doesn't Care." Needless to say on April 13, 2020 I received an email from *** stating that because of CV19 he will not be able to fulfill the contract. WOW. I was referred by a friend and Joe was very eager to come check out Low Lying Fruit, but when he offered the price and was accepted, sheepishly he reneged on a written contract. I am almost glad I didn't spent 10k with this company.
