Aqua-Tots Swim School

We were recommended to take our children there for swim lessons. We asked information about children with anxiety about the water and were told how great the instructors were with children like that. WE explained to grandparents how great it was and recieved a gift card from Grandparents for children to do swim lessons here. After explaining before gift card was purchased that children had anxiety about swimming under water without holding nose we were still encouraged to have grandparents buy gift card and they would be taught. Grandparents purchased $250 gift certificate and children started lessons. Children were in a seperate room with parents watching through glass. Children were forced to go under water without holding nose repeatedly right away while parents watched them ball there eyes out. We werent allowed to go in had to wait for front desk person to go get them and bring them out so we could talk. I immediatley pulled them. Even though we explained childrens anxiety previously it was diminished by front desk staff. We were told to make them cry while they do it a few more times. In educational environments childrens comfort level and mental health are of utmost importance. We asked for a refund since we did not receive the services of swim lessons and they do not provide lessons where you let the children learn when they are ready. After the General Manager and Owner got on the phone to try to convince me to keep bringing my children back (who are completely traumatized) and repeatedly told me my children wouldn't learn if I didn't force them they are refusing to refund more than $37 dollars of the $250 dollars our childrens grandparents paid. Services were not rendered and are not compatible with our children so we feel the money should be mostly refunded. I will not be taking my children back there.
