Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
My AquaShield pool enclosure cost me $15,Then it cost another $1,to do an installation, all according to the company specsIn addition, I cut a couple of old trees, that had a potential, if fall, to damage a structure The product comes with years warranty, so you may think that you get a piece of mind, sit back, and enjoy
During the second winter season, sections of the enclosure started to collapse , one after anotherIt looked like there were about 4-inches of the snow at the time - see attached picturesBadBut the worst came in laterAs it happens, there is a fine print in the contract about mandatory "excessive" snow removalBased on that clause, AquaShield called a few inches of snow excessive , customer negligent ( see the company response letter ), and refused to honor the warranty
In the same letter, AquaShield refers to what happened to my pool enclosure as an "act of God" Everybody knows what " an act of God" looks like when one sees it My case has nothing to do with an "act of God", but, rather, everything to do with an act of poor craftsmanship and deceptive sale tacticAccording to AquaShield grand design, you suppose to cancel all your skiing vacations, and "babysit" their enclosure all winter long to wipe off any snowflakes that might fall on itBecause if you don't do it, the thing WILL break, and you are not coveredAnd don't assume that it's easy to remove snow from feet wide, like in my case, dome, especially when there is a blizzard outside - I've done it
My disagreement with AquaShield is to be solved in the court of lawHere, at Revdex.com website, I'd like just to share my experience with othersAfter all, spreading the word is the best weapon we as customers possess to deal with that sort of businesses
Sincerely,

Dear Sir or Madam:
We are in receipt of your
email notice dated 4/**/14, consumer complaint #[redacted] regarding [redacted]
[redacted] located at [redacted].
It...
should be noted, [redacted]
[redacted]'s timeline is totally inaccurate as are his accusations. He actually
notified our office on 2/*/14 of the damage. He also did not fill out the
warranty form as is required (within 90 days of purchase). The warranty form was
recently submitted 2 years and several months late.
[redacted]'s Hard Top Safety
cover was damaged due to his own negligence because he did not remove the snow
as is mandatory and required with this product. Removal of snow is clearly
stated in our contract and also in the receipt of goods form both of which [redacted]
[redacted] was aware of and signed.
(all documents atached)
This winter season was extremely severe with near record amounts of
snow. As is documented, (enclosed in response letter) there were
consecutive heavy wet snow storms before we were notified of the damage by [redacted]
[redacted]
From the photos that [redacted] provided and from the weather reports
regarding weather conditions, our engineer has deduced that the amount of
snow weight on this cover was excessive. (Aqua Shield's response letter dated
April **, 2014).
I have also included a threatening email from [redacted] outlining what, in
our opinion, are blackmail tactics. (Email dated 4/**/14) He is threatening to
use social media to take make his point. If need be, our attorneys will respond
to these threats accordingly.
In conclusion, this problem occurred because [redacted] did not follow
instructions. Aqua Shield cannot be responsible for the snow fall or [redacted]
[redacted]'s not adhering to the conditions of the signed contract. This is an act
of god and should be forwarded to his insurance company.
I trust you will have the common sense to understand that this issue in not
the fault of Aqua Shield.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
