I contracted with the owner of Aqua Limo for June 6th, for the hours 11:45AM until 11:00PM at an agreed upon cost of $A deposit of $was sent to owner within specified time which was a PO Box numberThinking to follow up after weeks since mailing, to make sure owner had
received deposit, I phoned to inquireI was told by owner he had not received my check and I found that to be odd but figured things happen..we agreed I would check with my bank which I did and he had received my check and cashed it with his stamped endorsementI sent him a photo copy of the cancelled check and he was surprised with the result maintaining an oversightThat should have been a red flag to meI proceeded to pay the rest of the amount of $with the signed contract, my intended itinerary complete with a timeline and addresses for the day's events, within the specified timeThe day of the event was a bachelorette party for womenThe following is a list of complaints regarding this day: The driver was minutes late to pick us up at designated addressThe air conditioning did not work ( an 80+ degree day)We had to keep the windows down completely, causing the girls to have messy hairIt was loud and hard to communicate...if the windows were up we were dripping in sweatThere was an attempt by the driver to have the AC fixed at one of our stops to no availThe limo was basically falling apartThe back of it was smoking on departure as noted by my husbandThe muffler sounded loud as though it would fall off at any given momentThe seats were ripped, the ceiling roof panel was ripped with exposed wiresThere were dents and scratches all over the limo and it carried an unpleasant odorThe floor carpeting was filthy and some girls had on long dresses and had black all over their dresses and shoes from this filthy carpetThe owner was specifically asked if the limo had hook up for IPodWe were told yes and we found this to be untrueWhen initially contracting with the owner he depicted one picture of the limo we would be using and driver did not arrive with agreed upon pictured limoOwner was contacted a few days after event by phone, as well as, email about above listed complaints..after discussing complaints a monetary amount of $was verbally agreed upon by owner and myself as compensationAfter many phone calls, and owner always giving excuses, I have yet to see this compensationHe has blocked my cell phone and I know this because he answered when I called from my landlineI am filing this complaint in hopes that he is shut down and does not take anyone else on a "joy ride"This owner has many complaints against him and something must be done to protect those who do not knowThank you for addressing this situation and acting accordinglyFeel free to contact me if clarification of complaint becomes necessary
