It sounds like there may have been a break down in communication. We do have a no dog in vehicle policy but, when my dispatcher said that it was a service dog, I told her that we would make an exception and the dog would be allowed to ride in the tow truck. When my driver went back to
speak to Ms***, she was in her vehicle and on the phone so my driver put her crowbar back in her truck, closed the truck and went around to talk to her, she slammed her car door in his face and continued to talk on her cellphone. Because Ms*** would not speak with my driver, he ended up leaving and going on another call

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because APT Services has responded with completely information which only further proves my pointFirstly, I don’t even have a husband, I am a single woman, so they most certainly did not speak to my husbandThe assumption is comicalSecondly and more importantly, I do not know any business by the name of *** *** shop so I would not have given that nameThe driver that picked up my car was so rude, he couldn’t even be bothered to ask for the name of the place it was being sent to, he asked for the address which I provided, not once, but twiceIt is also not called a *** Repair shop, so that is incorrect informationThe name of the business is simply *** ***, but no one even took the time to get that information from meTo make the assumption that my *** would not be repaired at that shop is prejudice and presumptive...and incorrectYet againI absolutely was irate when I found out that they took it to their own storage lot for the weekend instead and would not allow me to gain access to my vehicle until the following Monday, I did not authorize them to even have it anywhere near their tow yardThe fact that I did not answer my phone (because I was at work) did not give them permission to take it wherever they wantedThe dispatcher then rudely proceeded to panic me purposely and tell me that my insurance would not cover the cost of the storage, I would be responsible for that payment when I picked up my car the following MondayWhen I got off the phone with them, my insurance company called me and immediately apologized that they had sent such awful service to help me and that they absolutely WOULD cover the cost of the storageSo again...information from APTAPT Service’s unwillingness to acknowledge their missteps here and make it right just reiterates that they are a company that has no business doing businessit’s just that simpleI have been so pleased with my insurance company in the matter because they have assured me that they have had MULTIPLE complaints about this company and they are now in the process of considering taking APT Services out of their list of referrals for tow companiesI have spoken to *** as well who has assured me the sameI can not wait to see this business go out of businessThe owner/management is inept and should be completely embarrassed.Sincerely,*** ***

Again, the owner of the vehicle needs to come in with a photo ID and proof of ownership. the owner will also need to pay the towing and storage charges BEFORE the vehicle can let our storage yard

On the night of October 13, 2017, [redacted] Roadside called us to tow [redacted]'s vehicle.  Our driver arrived at the address that was given to us, met with [redacted], loaded her vehicle and confirmed the drop address.  [redacted] told our driver that the vehicle was going to [redacted]...

[redacted] to [redacted].  Upon arrival, the driver noticed that the business in unit# 1 was a [redacted] repair shop and [redacted]'s vehicle is a [redacted] so, he tried to call [redacted] to verify he was at the correct location, she did not answer.  Our dispatcher also left a voice message for [redacted].  When we could not get a hold of [redacted], our dispatcher called [redacted] Roadside, who tried to get a hold of [redacted] and verify the shop location,.  When [redacted] could not get in touch with [redacted], [redacted] from [redacted] told our dispatcher to bring the vehicle to our storage yard until we could get more information from [redacted].  [redacted] called our office at about 10:00pm wanting to know why we did not drop her vehicle at the address given, our dispatcher tried to explain that we wanted to make sure that the drop address was correct.  She was irate, put her husband on the phone who was also irate.  Our dispatcher explain that we could take the vehicle back down there, we just wanted to make sure it was the correct address.  We ended up towing the vehicle back down to the original address on Sunday, October 15.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/08/25) */
On August 13th, 2015 at about 6:00pm Denver Police called us to pick up a vehicle that had been involved in an accident on west bound I-70 @ Havana. When my driver arrived, the officer told him that the driver of the vehicle had been...

transported to the hospital, he had no keys and that the vehicle was locked. My driver loaded the vehicle and towed it to our storage lot. On Friday, August 21st, 2015 at about 5:30pm a gentleman, claiming to be the owner of the vehicle, called and he was telling me that the keys where missing. I told him that I did not know about any missing keys, that the driver that towed the vehicle was on a tow and I would have to talk to him. About 2 minutes later a woman called claiming to be to owner and she was going on about how I need to find he keys and the officer said the driver has the key and we better find them or make new keys. I tried to explain that I needed to talk to the driver and she kept going on and on so I hung up on her. After speaking to my driver, he said the office did not have the key and that the vehicle was locked up on the side of I-70 when he arrived. I would recommend that Ms. [redacted] call the ambulance company and the hospital emergency room to see if they have the key, she can also have the officer call me if she would like.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/08/27) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The response is an out right lie. [redacted] did not give me a chance to say anything before being rude, cursing and hanging up. We spoke directly to Officer [redacted] #XXXXX and he says he handed the key to the driver. Since he is an officer of the law, he has no reason to lie about a key. I will request a statement from the officer and provide it to the Revdex.com.
In addition, her statement that the car was locked is another lie. My [redacted] auditor, [redacted] came to her business to view the damages for our insurance claim. He states the car was unlocked and he took pictures of the inside of the vehicle at her lot. I can provide these pictures and a statement from him that car was unlocked when he arrived to APT Towing. If the car is locked when we go to remove our personal items, I will file a 2nd complaint to include unethical and shady business practices against this organization
Further more, her explanation does not justify her behavior in trying to resolve the issue. I was in no way rude, matter-of-fact, I didn't get to say enough for it to be rude. I sent 2 emails directly to APT Towning and left several messages for [redacted] to resolve this directly, but she has refused to respond. Attached are screenshots of the emails. I can forward the originals, if needed.
I would like your organization to continue to take action against this company.
Please let me know, what additional information (pictures & statements) I need to provide to continue processing this complaint.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2015/09/08) */
Again, my driver said he was never given keys for Ms. [redacted]'s vehicle. When her son came to remove his personal property on August 27, 2015, he said that he had a letter from the officer stating that we had the keys to the vehicle, we asked to see it but he never did show the letter to anyone in the office. Mr. [redacted] aunt was with him and ended up asking him to go out to her vehicle and wait while she retrieved his personal property . We unlocked the vehicle and she removed the few items that Mr. [redacted] wanted. Also, as far as [redacted]g looked at the vehicle on August 28th, 2015. Please tell Ms. [redacted] that I would like to see the statement from the office and if it states that the officer gave my driver the keys, I will have a key cut for the vehicle.

I'm sorry but, I will need most information before I can answer this complaint.  I will need to know what type of vehicle we towed, vin, plate # , etc., why we towed the vehicle and the date that the vehicle was towed. Thank you

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. APT corrected the issue by providing a full refund and apologizing for the incident.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

My employees did make a mistake in calculating the mileage for Mr. [redacted]'s tow.  I did call him on March 25, 2016 @ 1:40pm to try and straighten things out but, have yet to hear from him.  $30.00 was refunded to his credit card on March 19th and I am more then happy to refund the remaining...

$25.00 but, I can not do that with out his credit card number.  I am also sorry for the misunderstand and rudeness of my employees and would like to make this matter right.  If Mr. [redacted] would like to give me a call with his credit card number, I will take care for his refund immediately.Thank You,Karen Fischer

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: she took the car without registration and she's holding the vehicle without proper authority tell her to call navy federal which is the crap she said she was going to do to begin with but she won't and she can stop contacting me
Sincerely,
[redacted]

On May 26, 2016, we were called by the Denver Police to tow a 2013 Nissan Juke.  When my tech arrived he found that Mr. [redacted] was the driver of the Nissan.  After speaking to Mr. [redacted], it was decided that the vehicle would be towed to our storage facility and that the charge would be...

$50.00 for the tow and $15.00 per day for storage.  Mr. [redacted] also made some comment to my tech that there was only liability insurance on the vehicle and the he would come in with the title for the vehicle.   Now, we have received several calls about this vehicle and we have tried to explain that the registered owner would have to come in with a photo ID and proof of ownership, either the title or registration.  In one of the conversations that I had with someone claiming to be the owner, he told me that there is a lien on the vehicle and he just wants us to tow the vehicle to a junk yard.  I explained that the owner would have to come in with a photo ID and proof of ownership, pay the charges for the towing and that we could tow the vehicle out for him if he would like but, the we would not take it to a junk yard for him because what he was trying to do was a crime and we will not get involved in that.  On another occasion, someone claiming to be the owner called, went on about how there was a lien on the vehicle and the there was liability insurance only on the vehicle.  I asked if the lien holder had been contacted and the person on the phone said no and that he wasn't contacting them.  I tried to explain the if the vehicle was not picked up soon we would do a title search through the state and send out letters to anyone listed on the title.  At that point, the person on the phone told how I better not give the lien holder his address because the payments have not been made on the vehicle.  In conclusion, if Mr. [redacted] is the owner, all he needs to do is bring in his photo ID and proof of ownership, pay the tow charges and take the vehicle.  If this is not done soon, we will be doing a title search and sending out certified letters to anyone listed on the title who may have interest in the vehicle.
