I reviewed their website and their sister website for the life values inventory,[redacted]. I then sent an email requesting more information and placed an order for the facilitators package worth $175.00 on 7/15/2014. I received confirmation of the order and the costs have been deducted from my debit account. But I have never received the requested package (to be sent to my office address) and none of my emails or calls have been answered. The phone number posted is for [redacted], probably affiliated with the educator, Dr. [redacted], who is the listed head of Applied Psychology. But I don't think this is a true organization and may just be a scam to obtain people's personal information (via the life values inventory) and money from those like me who are HR professionals ordering educational materials.Product_Or_Service: Facilitator's Guide to the LVIDesired SettlementI'd like my money back. But more importantly if this is a scam to obtain personal data via the life values inventory and money via the submitted orders, I'd like the websites taken down so others are not unwitting victims, and to see the authors investigated. Business Response We apologize for any miscommunication. We are working to resolve this issue immediately. The Life Values Inventory is an assessment test that generates personalized information to help individuals and organizations. The company originally offered the assessment and other supplemental materials for purchase. Over the past four years the LVI has developed a website that offers the assessment and all the supplemental material for free online. This shift in focus leaves some of our hard copy materials in limited supply. The person who filed this complaint placed a hard copy order for a Start Up Packet. We only have the Assessment Packets in stock and not the Facilitator's Guide Booklets. We left messages at her office in July asking if she wanted to purchase just the Assessment packets and have the rest of her order refunded. We also stated on the messages that she had the option of accessing the materials online for free. We never heard back from her office until this complaint upon which her money is being fully refunded today.
