My husband and I purchased a Samsung slide in Range for 1069.99 and a Kitchen Aid dishwasher from ApplianceSmart on 3/28/20. We requested they set up delivery since we were purchasing a new home and had enough on our plate. The delivery took place about 2 weeks later after we closed on our home and since there was another delivery at the same time I had them leave the appliances in the dinning room while *** delivery service installed our refridgerator. The *** delivery service saw the condition of the stove since it was just sitting in the middle of the room The back of the stove was dented which I didn't really care about since it wouldn't be seen. The front of the stove had a scratch on the handle and a dent in the drawer on the bottom. All of the front damage I knew was there because the salesman had told me I could order a new cover for the drawer for about 40 dollars. I knew I could also order a new handle. It wasn't a deal breaker. As it turns out, the stove could not be installed because the feet were stripped which wouldn't allow it to be raised. It would be necessary to raise the feet because the Samsung Slide in range has to go above the counter. After trying to resolve with ApplianceSmart to no avail we decided to return the stove. They claimed we had done all the damage to the stove and only returned 75% of our money. When my husband arrived home I told him I would rather purchase a dishwasher somewhere else since they lied and insisted we did the damage. When I called to let them know I would be returning the dishwasher; "new in the box" they asked why and I told them I would rather purchase from a reputable place. The manager told me he would not refund me because that was not a good enough excuse. Now I'm concerned if there is a problem with the dishwasher I will be out the 749.98 and tax for that as well.
