Review: On 01/31/14 I contacted Appliance Masters to service my Jenn-aire range. I told them over the phone that the digital timer/heat control was not working properly.

They said there was a $98.00 service charge, but it would be applied to the repair if we decided to repair the range.

On 02/06/14 the technitian came to my house (2+ hours late). He inspected the range and told me that he would check the availability of the part, and call the next day. Appliance Masters called on 02/07/14 and told me that the part was not available, and the range was not repairable. I was charged $98.21 for the "diagnostic work".

I object to this charge because the "diagnostic work" was grossly incompetent. I was told that I would need either part #71002199 or #71002198 and both were no longer available. A quick search on the internet shows that both of these parts are cosmetic parts that do not have anything to do with the control of the range. The parts cited are mylar overlays. The part that I really need is #71002331 which is the control board (timer/heat control) this part is available online, and my range is easily repairable. Most venders suggest that this is a do-it-yourself repair.Desired Settlement: I would like Appliance Masters to waive the $98.21 charges.

Review: HORRIBLE service. I have been waiting since the beginning of November, almost 3 month's for this company to figure out how to fix my microwave that is under warranty and less than 1 year old through Whirlpool. I have set aside multiple days for this company to come out only and no follow through to say when they are having difficulty with parts. When I call I only get a rude response and that when they have it they will get it to me..... I have contacted Whirlpool as they are the warranty company and they say they can do nothing until this business decides that it is unrepairable. This microwave is not even 1 year old yet???Desired Settlement: I would like this microwave repaired this week. With no further delay.

This has been repaired as of 1/28/2016, the reason for the delay was that there were parts that were on a factory back order and also after the initial service call other issues came into light and more parts were needed and ordered. Customer was satisfied with the repair at the time of completion. We had explained that unfortunately we do not have any control when parts are on a factory back order and did what we could to get them as soon as possible.Customer called for service on 11/23/2015 we were out there o inspect in on 12/3/2015 it was then scheduled for 12/24/15 but the part was on a factory back order as explained previously, then when the parts finally came in she was called and service was scheduled for 1/28/2016 and the job completed.
