Review: Bought a washer from them. Had issues with the washer. They took outback adjacent had it over a month and have not got it back yet. They keep telling me all different types of stuff.Desired Settlement: I want a replacement washer of the same brand because I bought the matching set. Or I want a new set in exchange for the one I bought

Review: I purchased an LG Door in Door Refrigerator on 11.28.14 for $2227.50. A few weeks ago the unit began making noises so we had to have 2 different repairman take a look at it. The first Repairman did not know what was going on. Repairman #2 with Plaza Appliance came out and right away noticed the serial number had been removed along with the Sealed Air system had been tampered with. He said the unit was a condemned unit by LG and should have never been sold. I tried multiple times to call Appliance King on Tuesday 8.4.15 to request they refund our money and they pick this unit up. No one answers the phone and there is no way to leave a message. I have contacted American Express to dispute the charge and this is in process. Appliance King misrepresented this appliance as new with a scratch & dent during transportation. They sold a refrigerator that was condemned by the manufacturer and are fraudulent in this practice. I want a full refund of $2227.50 along with the money we spent with the 2 repair services:Tarheel Appliance $108.69 / Plaza Appliance $79.00This is a total of $2415.19Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of $2227.50 along with the money we spent with the 2 repair services:Tarheel Appliance $108.69 / Plaza Appliance $79.00This is a total of $2415.19They need to pick up the condemned unit immediately

Review: We bought a brand new LG washer and dryer set from Appliance King approximately 1.5 years ago. Then recently the washer stopped working. I hired a repair man to come look at the washer and he said that both control panels had crashed and that it would be over $750 to repair it with parts and labor. I then called LG corporate and they were willing to repair and extend my warranty on the washer for free until they found out that the washer had been given a false serial number. I called Appliance King several times to explain this. I talked to a few salesman that assured me that all new models should have a serial number on them and that an owner would call me back and discuss further. I have never received one call back from Appliance King. I have called several more times and asked for Misty (Supervisor) and the owner only to have the person on the other end pretend to take a message and continue to lie about Misty and the owner never being there every time I call. We are an active duty military family trying to support local businesses and this is the last thing we should be worrying about.Desired Settlement: I would like either a refund, to have my washer repaired to working condition, or a replacement. I do not think that is too much to ask after they lied to us and put a fake serial number on the washer which is considered tampering and fraud and is punishable by law. Not to mention that an LG product should not have both control panels crash only after a year and half of use. Washer and dryers are supposed to last longer than 2 years and we definitely feel cheated and taken advantage of.

Review: On December 16 I paid 516.05 for a dishwasher, refrigerator and delivery. I was told at that point someone would call me the next morning to set up delivery. I told the salesman that the delivery would have to be between 9am and 5 pm. He said not a problem. I did not receive a phone call as promised so I called around lunch time to inquire. I was told the truck was in the shop and it would be the next day. I did not here another word until around 6pm on December 18 that they wanted to deliver the appliances. I told the man that no one was at the home and it would not be possible. He told me they would call me on Friday to reschedule delivery. I did not hear anything else until I went to the store on Monday December 22 and asked for my money to be reimbursed to my credit card. I was told at that time I needed to call [redacted] and was given her number. I called at 11:00 like I was instructed to do, she was not in the office and said she would call me back when she got back to the office. I asked her if I needed to come back down to proceed with this, and she said no. When she returned my call she was hostile and refused to give me the money for the products I had paid for and they could not seem to deliver.Desired Settlement: I would like the charge taken off my credit card.

Review: My mother bought me a used refrigerator, from Appliance King, for Christmas, the FOURTH OF DEC.. When they installed it the ice maker leaked water and the guys said they would fix it. When I called the company the following week, the manager was unaware of the problem. THE REFRIGERATOR WAS UNDER A 30 DAY WARRANTY. The first 4 appointments no one showed up. When the guy [redacted] finally arrived, he saw the part was split and knew it needed replacing. They didn't want to spend $65 to buy the part. Finally in late Jan. [redacted] came back and he had the wrong part. It took 2 weeks for him to come back with a reworked part. W hen he cut the water on, the refrigerator started leaking from the place that holds the filter. The plug that was in it was cracked.(It didn't have a filter in it.)I ordered the plug from Lowe's and I put it in and it still leaked. I called the manager back. Still no one came. My mother and I stopped by Feb. 8 and talked to the manager. He found me a filter to put in the frigerator and he told me to try it. We went straight to my house, tried it and it still leaked. We went back and I told the manager that it still leaked. He told me he would send the repairman back out Mon. but he didn't. I've called 3 times and left messages. I told them I want it fixed. They do not give refunds and they've been wanting me to switch it out. I told them they messed up my rug getting it moved in and I don't want to keep dragging a refrigerator in and out. I got in touch with a lady today and she said all I want to do is argue. I told her I've been waiting for 3 months and she told me she knew how long it had been. She asked me what I wanted to do and I told her I wanted it fixed and she hung up on me. Mom bought the kind I wanted so why should I have to exchange it when it's their place to fix it.Desired Settlement: Repair it to proper working condition or refund my mother her money. I do not wish to keep dealing with them. I do not want anything else they have to offer.

Review: We bought two used appliances from Appliance King in Feb 2014. Both appliances have stopped working properly. They stand behind their products when you buy them but when there is a problem treat you like junk and tell you oh well. When I read the complaints about this store it is the same thing over and over again. They sell you junk and take advantage of people who cannot afford brand new appliances and it needs to be stopped!Desired Settlement: We paid $400 for both. loss of food $200repair tech $100
