Appliance Doctor

Called this company out. They charged $400 to reportedly thaw out suction line on refrigerator The reason for the call was because it was leaking because the temperature was above freezing and nothing was frozen or even cold. They would not accept a check and then it took multiple calls to their many numbers to get them back. I sent texts and pictures and they came back twice and did nothing. Calls to the owner proved useless as he is unprofessional and unreasonable. We now have an appkiance that we cannot use and his only solution was to put even more money in with no guarantee. The invoice says they have a warranty. I assume that he applies ghat subjectively. I can't get any resolution. Tech will not respond either. Do not use these people under their multiple numbers and names. Seems like a scam. I want to leave no stars but this forum will not allow

Crook. Thief. Liar. We were told to contact him through *** who is now claiming they never told us to contact him. He came out on 12/11/2018 to give us an estimate and figure out what was wrong with our refrigerator. Told us it was the compressor, charged us $89.95 for the service and said he'd order it in and be back next week. He never came back. Ever. We went through my child's first Christmas and first birthday without a working refrigerator. I called every day for two weeks, then called every week. He would never call me back, and if I happened to catch him on the phone, he would say he's waiting to hear from his distributor. It is April 16. Nothing. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU USE AUTHORIZED APPLIANCE REPAIR. ABSOLUTELY WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH ANYONE, FOR ANYTHING.

Kevin Grace serviced washing machine by changing the belt on machine, after service still not functioning. Called back he was rude and unprofessional.
Company name "The Appliance Doctor" Kevin Grace changed belt on washing machine to fix spin cycle, charged $249.95, when writing check for "The Appliance Doctor" he corrected me to write check directly to him...however spin cycle continued to not function so he was called back. In return he was extremely rude & unprofessional. Paid for my washer to be fixed however it never got fixed, tried to cancel the check but he had already went straight to the bank to cash it, essentially stole $249.95 from me.

He did not solve the problem. The part he put in was defective and did not need replacing after all. We want to get our money back.
On 3/21/17 K. G from Authorized Appliance Repair was called to repair our 26 year old *** washer which was not letting rinse water drain. Upon seeing, he immediately said it needed a new timer. I asked if the current one could be adjusted, etc. and he said no (without even looking at it). He didn't have the part with him and returned 2 days later with the timer and installed it. (I asked to keep our old one.) We paid him 2 payments - 125.00 and 206.41 for a total of 331.41 (supposedly the price of the timer - no breakdown on invoice). Two days later when I did laundry, the rinse cycle would not drain the water (just like before he fixed it). I called K. G and he said that he would have to order a new part but he had no idea when he would get it. After a month or more of going to the laundry mat, I called him to see if the part had come in yet. He said he had to order it from the manufacturer and had no idea when it would get here. Meanwhile, my husband went online and found a *** part for a fraction of the price, plus free shipping, and we could have it in 2 days. Also, I asked my husband if he could reinstall the old part (that I kept) just to be sure it wouldn't work with a little adjusting. My husband cleaned it, put it back on and tightened everything and my washer has worked perfectly since. So it appears the old part did just need adjusting after all. I called K. G to cancel the supposedly new part being ordered and told him we wanted our money back. I was going to be fair and deduct his 79.95 fee for coming out (even tho we were told there is no fee if he does a repair) and round what he owes us down to 250.00. After calls made in April, May, June, and July (always with an excuse from him), we still don't have our money. I recently contacted him (it's been 4 months now) and was told he would bring the money to our house on Thursday, 7/20. I called him the day of so he wouldn't use the "I forgot" excuse again. He now wanted me to meet him somewhere off of I-24. I said that was fine. I had always offered to meet him to save him a trip to our house as he never seemed to be in this area - another excuse since he does service the area in which we live. As the day wore on, I called again to be sure he was still coming. He said he was on his way to Murfreesboro. I called back at 5 pm to get a ballpark time of meeting and he said he would call when he left Murfreesboro. Fast forward to 7 pm, no call. When I tried calling, it went straight to his voicemail and I knew for sure that he had no intention of giving us our money back. He has not bothered to call since then either. I would like this complaint to serve as a warning to others and I would also like to get our refund of 250.00.
