Appli Cats

My husband and I went to buy a Mainecoon Kitten from Appli Cats. We was told $400. I asked in messenger and in text messages “ $400 right?” Appli Cats replied “yes” There was no mention of other fees nor was there any mentioning of a refund until the day I asked for one. Friday he text me and said that *** was wanting $300 for a temperature crate to keep the kitten comfortable. I didn’t know how to go about paying ***, I ended up sending the $300 to Appli Cats. All money was sent through ***. Then Appli Cats said there was an additional $500. At this point my husband told him that he needed to cover the cost because we no longer had the funds and because he never stated that there was additional fees of this sort. Appli cats then got very demanding saying do it now please.. at the end of all this we told Appli cats that he can keep the cat and we want our refund of $700 because all money was sent to him. That’s when he said the $400 was non refundable and $300 *** had so we had to go through him. We said he had the payment given to him directly to his account so therefore payment refund falls on him to refund us since it went to his bank account. We also said $400 had to be refunded because he never stated that in the beginning of the conversation when we asked how much and it’s not stated on his business page. We contacted *** and they said that they can not do the refund that we must request the money directly from the person since it’s already in their bank account
