I picked up a 2012 Chevy Orlando on July 16,2016.A few weeks later and notice that no payments have came out of my account yet.I sent *** (saleslady) a message and asked her if she could please look into it for me.I did not hear back from her so a week later I sent her another message. She then told me she would look into it and get back to me.I never heard from her.I messaged her again and also called *** because that's who my deal was through, and they didn't have myself or my husband in their systems at all owing the car!I had to come to Applewood to have multiple chips replaced that were in my windshield when I bought the car. Then had to have the windshield replaced.I also had to have the trunk latch replaced because the truck didn't open.At that time I asked *** if he could find out why there were no payments out of my account yet as I still haven't heard back from ***.He told me he would speak with her and *** would let me know.I had still never heard from ***. ***(lady who does payments and warranties) called me Thursday, August 24, 2016 to inform me that they never put through my loan papers and now they are expired and my husband and I need to sign them all again.Because I live over an hour away I asked her to please send me the papers via *** because my husband and I could not make it to Mississauga. She said she would get it out that day (August 24, 206) couriered to my house.I did not receive the papers until August 29, 2016.For this hassel they promised me a extended warrantly on September 29, 2016.After many ignored emails and calls I finally received the warrantly at the end of OCTOBER 2017.Over a year later. While cleaning out my car on August 28, 2016 I noticed that the third row seat on the passenger side was not bolted down to the frame of the car.I have two small children and we have used that seat.I was so distraught by this as it could have been life threatening if I were in an accident.Thier company speaks strongly on thier 150 point safety inspection before handing out any used car.But with a trunk latch that didn't open as well as a seat that was not bolted into the car I really wonder about this.So I had to return to Applewood again on Saturday, August 26, 2016 to you have them hook the seat into my car and also because the engine is running really rough. There were some sensors that needed to be replaced and they bolted the seat into my car so that it was safe.I also had to have the cam shaft timing chain replaced on September 19, 2016.Since purchasing my car, there has always been a wobble in the front end.I brought my car in at least 4 times to have them assess the wobble.First they replaced the 2 front tires. Then replaced the right drive shaft. None of the above fixed the wobble and the last time I made an appointment to have the wobble assessed again on October 7, 2017 and to have an oil change. When I got there, the service man told me they couldn't assess the wobble as they didnt have a service tech to look into it.So I drove over an hour to get just a oil change and not to have my main concern assessed. While they had my car this day, they dented my drivers side door.I ended up taking my car to my local chevy dealer and within 2 hours they had located the problem.I needed the front left and right drive shafts replaces. One of which Applewood had claimed to have already replaced. My powertrain warranty was now up and I had to use my extended warrantly which charged me a deductible of $113.00 a week before Christmas.I have dealt with nuerous managers including ***,***,and ***. I have records in my emails of how many times I emailed each of them with absolutely no responce.Ive asked nicely to have my dent repaired and a refund of the $113 I had to pay because they misdiagnosed my car so many times, only to be told finally on January 24, 2018: YOUR CASE IS CLOSED AND WE WILL NOT PAY THE DEDUCTIBLE OR FIX THE DENT!
I would like to have it known how awful the customer service is. I would also like my dent fixed at a location close to my home, paid for by Applewood. I will not return to thier dealer to have it fixed. I would also like the deductibe of $113.00 back that I had to pay because they misdiagnosed my car so many times and my local dealer figured it out in 2 hours time. I think some compensation for my time *** is also sufficient. For all the times I had to travel over an hour away, wasting my time, my gas, my mileage on my car and time from my family. For every email that went ignored, every phone call that wasnt returned. For all my worries that my car was unsafe with my 2 small children in my car. Imagine I was in an accidnet with that seat not bolted down into the car!?! ***. Or if my drive shafts would have broke while I was driving on the highway! If they really completed 150 point safety inspections on thier cars before they sold them then a lot of this could have likely been avoided.
