The Daycare allowed a grandfather, one who obviously cannot see well or recognize his own grandchild, leave with my 3 year old baby girl. When I got there to pick her up, her teacher told me she just got picked up by her grandfather. He went to the classroom (which his granddaughter was no longer in ACS was in the gym at that time) I knew this was wrong because I wasn't aware and did not authorize anyone to pick her up that day 1/15/15. The staff could not pull anything up on their cameras because they were switching over their system and didn't have a back up. The front was left unattended so no one saw them when he walked out with the wrong child! I called the police, who filed a Missing Person's case. The police got all of the information and started searching. The directors showed up and started trying to calm the family down and find out what they could. After over an hour, another parent called in and said her father picked up the wrong cjd and she was on her way back. The staff said they are familiar with the man. Obviously, their judgement on not letting people other than parents go to the classroom, not verifying they had the right child, and not checking ID, was poor. This business should NOT be taking care of people's children!!
