I am rejecting this response because:After requesting communication be written I received a phone call on 7/2/and Alex stated the crack would be fixed on 7/3/ Again no one responded and I was not notified of a problem or why no one would come to fix the crack.Alex stated on 5/23/the crack could be fixed by scoring the crack deep enough to seal it with epoxy and covering it with concrete to match the other new concrete.On 7/5/a person came and scored the crack about 3/inch deep and covered it with concrete repair mortar No epoxy was installed, as stated by Alex for a proper repair, and the installed mortar is dark, dark gray not matching the other new concrete The repair is cracked at the surface and I expect it to fall out as soon as moister is present I have contacted another concrete contractor and he, along with Alex's repairman, stated the proper way to to fix this issue is replacement of the stone i.ethe section Suspected cause was movement of the forms prior to adequate drying (this I observed) failure to properly compact the base, or less than adequate concrete at this location None of these conditions can be verified without removal of the stone.At this point The Concrete Company finally provided a copy of their warranty and they are refusing to correct the issue.At this point I am not recommending anyone use this company Poor installation process, Poor communication Poor follow-up Poor response to problems Failure to live up to verbal commitments by the owner.I would love to change this review if the concrete stone (section) was replaced

We have been working with this client to ensure that we provide quality work. In our Warranty, it clearly states that cracks under 1/4" are not covered. The hairline crack this client has is not covered as a tear out and replace type of issue. We have gone back and patched the
crack( measured at under 1/8th inch). We understand this client's concren but hairline cracks in concrete are not aband patching for this type of hairline crack is standard.

Regarding this complaint, we did not over excavate. The City of Castle Rock, Douglas County, requires 30" below frost line. This was done properly and in accordance with the law. We admit we damaged the retaining wall and said retaining wall was repaired properly while we were
still on location. My entire crew remained at the property an additional day to ensure the cleanup was also done properly. I have never told a client this is not part of our deal because it is part of the deal. The only time there is an extra charge for this is if we have to haul in extra road base or fill dirt. Given the scope of the job was $13,500, we require 50% up front and the balance the day we finish, and she withheld ONLY $600, at best we do not feel any monies are owed to this client. With regards to the additional contractor being called in to "fix" the problem, if the client had called us to go back to location (under our Warranty agreement) then we would have been happy to go back out and address the issue. We were never notified of any further issues until now. Given only $was withheld from this job, we feel the customer request for $refund is unfounded. The issues the client did approach us on would have fallen under additional work not outlined in the original bid. That work was verbally quoted to the client at a cost of $2,approximately. Again, we do not feel the client request for a $3,refund has merit
