Apple Market Five

on 9/10/19 prior to going to my chiropractor appointment I went to the Indio Apple Market/ shell gas station and recycling center to cash in my recyclables; aluminum cans and plastic bottles just as I have done for the past 18 yrs.

My recycling refund amounted to a little over 19 dollars like $19.18 as I left the area where cans and recyclables are collected I went into the restroom which is located to the right hand side of their store it is unclear to me whether my receipt flew out of my pocket and blew away with the wind or I threw it away by mistake.

I then decided to go back to the attendant at the recycling yard and ask her for a copy of my receipt which had my second name ***, I asked her if she could give me a copy of the receipt but she responded in Spanish "no te puedo ayudar si perdistes tu recibo tengo una linea muy larga quitate de aqui." "I cannot help you if you misplaced your receipt get out of here." and I responded but the correct and ethical thing to do is to help me get my money .. just radio the cashier inside and ask her if nobody has cashed it yet and make me a copy.

I decided to go speak to the cashier but had no luck with her she told me to return to the restroom and look for it and she said verbatium " tengo mucha linea aqui estoy muy ocupada y no puedo estar buscandole recibos" "I have a long line here and I'm far too busy to be looking for receipts for you."

I responded in a frustrated tone " so what am I supposed to do here? just loose my time and money because you are unwilling to help?" I am going to get a hold of the Revdex.com or call the police you are stealing my money" Her name was Lupita and she responded "do whatever you want I am the manager here and without a receipt we cannot help you.The Patron's of this Apple Markets throughout the Coachella Valley are primarily hard working men that work in the service sectors like construction, gardening having lived here for 30+ years I have witnessed their employees mistreat
