I want to delete my account as a task worker and I’m creeped out that there is no straightforward way to do this. I was assigned some tedious task of filling out information « exactly as it appeared on a website ». So I did that and the box I filled it out it was marked wrong and it said « write something creative » Those are two different instructions. I want my account deactivated. I’m super uncomfortable with being on this site and I can’t find a way to deactivate my account.

I had two pending payments from past 3 months with *** and I have raised a ticket regarding the issue in February and the ticket number is *** with my contributor .After continues updating the ticket in March I got a rply from them stating that my *** settings didn’t allow the payment process and I need to update my account settings.I did update the account settings and again requested them to re process my payment.After waiting for one more month in May 18th they closed my ticket to RESOLVED without solving the issue.I had to reopen the ticket again and begging them to re process my $189.35 . I am yet to get response to my ticket and I even posted in their Facebook comments section about the problem lately.

I am still waiting for my money and rply.They doesn’t even give clarity if I will get my payment or not.my first two payments were been held and rest of the payments are going smoothly till now.

Thanks for your help.My issue with *** has been resolved . They did clear my payment.

Hi I recently tried to login to do their tasks and it says Your Figure Eight account is deactivated. Please contact *** if you are interested in reactivating your account. I have contacted them numerous times saying they will get back to me and still haven't done so. Plus, I withdraw $31.58 from them and on their payment method which I used *** it says completed. However, no payment came into my *** from them.

Figure Eight has reinstated this user’s account and will ensure that all money earned through the platform is paid in full. This user’s account was temporarily suspended due to suspicious activity, but was later reenabled after a thorough review of their platform activity. Figure Eight’s Trust & Safety team works hard to ensure that the platform is secure for both its customers and its contributors. While the Trust & Safety team does everything they can to ensure that proper actions are taken on all accounts, decisions are from time to time reversed when suspended user accounts are found to be in good standing on the platform. This was the case with this user, and Figure Eight is working hard to ensure the user is taken care of.

they constantly terminate you even though you were correct on the tasks, they neither ever own up to or fix their mistakes or compensate you for their trouble, they rarely respond to tickets.

is a great place for finding tasks for contributor, However by forcing them activating their cell number through that your company for just doing task.

requires all contributors on its platform to verify their accounts through the process of Mobile Verification. While we recognize that this may be a frustrating request for some users, we consider it a standard industry practice to verify user accounts through the receipt and entering of an SMS code. In order to ensure that the *** platform remains a secure platform, account verification is a necessary process. We are currently evaluating potential alternatives to provide to contributors who are unable to verify their accounts through mobile verification, but at this time we require it of all contributors.

feels that we have adequately addressed our reasons for implementing the mobile verification requirement for our user base. While ***'s frustration is understandable, as not everyone wants to do mobile verification, *** is fully within its right to take the measures needed to ensure a safe and secure password. There is no malice in the mobile verification requirement. It is in ***'s best interest to allow as many users to use the platform as possible. However, security needs mandate setting requirements for accessing the platform. *** is not required to guarantee that every single person in the world, regardless of access to technology, is able to earn money as a freelancer on the platform. Those without cell phones will not be able to participate in this optional platform, just as those without a computer aren't able to.

Signed up because it is supposed to be a good company. Can't get back in because I don't have Facebook to sign back in with. I don't have a Facebook account and even if I did I wouldn't share it for that. I don't use my social media account to sign in to other accounts.
