Due to a change in plans, on approx. July 15, 2015 I called the company and asked if I could return the tools. The tools were still in the unopened boxes. The lady checked with someone to see if she could take back the tools and issue an RMA. She was told they would accept them and that she would email me the RMA paperwork.July 29, 2015. On approx July 29, 2015 I called customer service again as I had not received any paperwork for the RMA. The lady asked me if I had the name of the person I talked to, I did not. I asked her what her name was and she told me "I'm not going to give you my name". After giving her all of my order numbers and tracking numbers she told me that she would get me the paperwork. It was delivered to Apex in North Carolina as the company had instructed, and signed for by [redacted].Approx. August 10, 2015 after they received the return I called to inquire about the refund. The lady told me that she would try and get my refund processed by that Friday. On approx. August 18, 2015 I called again and talked with [redacted]. She sent me the following message in an email:"I have sent the information that is needed to apply credit back to your credit card.I will send updated information as I receive it.Sorry for the delay and inconvenience."August 27, 2015. I sent all of the info to my bank and filed a dispute on the charges. This is still pending.September 1, 2015. My bank called me and also contacted Apex customer service. They told my bank that the refund had been issued the 27th. She didn't know how long it would take. She transferred the call to another party that never answered. It is now September 8th, 2015. They received the tools back on August 4th, 2015. That is over 30 days for a refund. Every time I call they have no record of the return. Then after I give them the tracking info and all of the order numbers, they can see that the items were received. For a company that sent out items so quickly, I am very surprised at how unprofessionally they handle refunds. I have copies of emails that they have sent me as well as [redacted] emails with proof of delivery. Desired SettlementI want my refund as promised by the company multiple times.
