These guys were great. It rained unexpectantly the evening after they sealed my driveway. Jeremy called to check for any damage. It was slight but the team was back up the next afternoon. They resealed the driveway and cleaned up the areas that had the sealant splashed on.
They were great, very polite and concerned that I had a good experience and a thorough job.
Many thanks to the Apex crew.
The mechanics did alot of damage to truck I would not recommend this company to anyone and if I could give a negative star for the work and damage they did to engine and radiator I would. Also told truck was repaired and then left stranded 5 miles away . Radiator damaged by mechanics and never told numerous other issues with the work done very poor workmanship.
Excellent service and efficient, high quality work. I would recommend Apex highly.
I am amazed! Apex replaced my driveway last year. A couple of days after they finished, I noticed an obvious seam in the driveway where it appeared the roller did not quite get the two parts integrated. I had paid the full cost of the driveway and feared that I would get stonewalled when I pointed out the problem. Apex came out and before I could point out the problem, the Apex person spotted it and acknowledged that it needed to be reheated and rerolled. They fixed it without a hint of a squabble.
Over the past winter, we saw that a small pond consistently formed from melting snow. This was next to a concrete part of my driveway, and next to my grass, and I knew that it was a tricky area. Before sealcoating this year, I asked Apex to come out and give me a price for fixing the low spot as much as they could. I was told the minimum charge was $500. Apex took a look, and over two days they dug out the pond area including the base, put in a new base and applied new asphalt. It was a much more involved repair than I had imagined, and I was anxious about what it would cost. I called today and was told I have a "Zero balance" and that it was warranty work.
A company that makes sure its customers are satisfied?! In the asphalt business?! Amazing!
From my experience you can't go wrong with this company.
Apex Group applied new asphalt to my parking area and sprayed seal coating on my building and damaged the stucco in the process. I have been trying to resolve this issue directly with the company since the 26th of September, 2017 when the work was done. I've made numerous phone calls in an attempt at resolution, with no action on the company's part to satisfy the situation.
Here is the last email to *** regarding his building. this was sent 6/27/2018. As you can see, we did offer to come in and pressure wash the south side of his building, which would remove the tack. He has not responded, instead he went to the Revdex.com.
***,
*** has been keeping me in the loop as to what’s been going on over there at Taco Time. I have done an onsite inspection of your building and the only thing we are willing to do is come in with a pressure washer and clean the tack off of the south side of your building. We had a tip plug on the distributor and got about a 6 foot splatter section over there and are willing to come take care of it. As far as any damage that you said we did to your building, that’s simply not true. All we had up next to you building was small compaction equipment that is required to properly compact the asphalt next to any structures. The asphalt residue that is along the asphalt and your building on the bottom(approximately 1.5-2 Inches up) is from us running the NECESSARY compaction equipment along the edges. If you take a look at the building next door you will see the exact same thing and it simply cannot be helped. Buildings don’t normally have their paint and/or stucco coming into contact with the asphalt surface. Normally there is part of the concrete foundation showing and we are able to pave up next to that without getting any residue on painted surfaces. That’s not the case with your building. Please let me know when the best time to come in and do the pressure washing would be and we will get it scheduled.

I am rejecting this response because:
In their response, Apex didn't mention the numerous phone calls that I've made, including one where an appointment to do a cleaning had been scheduled. It was to be done 3 weeks ago tomorrow. Apex also failed to mention that more emails were exchanged on 6/27/18, including one which asked me when we could meet on 6/28/18 to set up a plan. I immediately emailed back with a time frame that would work for me, and still, over 24 hours later, no response.
Sincerely
you are not being honest. Here is an email from *** regarding your threatening email, which I have attached that you sent over to him and myself on 7/9/2018.
From ***:
*** and ***-As I'm sure you are aware, your guys tried once again to wash the tack from my building on 7/8/18. This time, they succeeded in washing paint off the wall, creating a major eyesore. In their maneuvering about my parking lot, they also hit and damaged my manager's car. A report with local authorities was placed, but I want to make sure you are aware of the incident. I encourage you to meet with me, or at least call me, to discuss how to proceed on this matter. I have photo and video documentation of every step of this unfortunate process. If I do not hear from you in a prompt manner, I will be forced to take legal action. My patience have worn thin.***
From Jeff: 7/9/2018
Thanks for the threats ***. It’s not the best way to get things done but if you feel that’s your best option feel free to go that route. We came in twice and tried to remove the asphalt from your wall. We informed you of the possibility of paint discoloration or the paint coming off and of course this happened the 2nd time when using hot water rather than cold. As far as the vehicle damage that’s being taken care of. We have a painter that’s going to stop by and take a look and see what he can do about the south side of your building.

*** keeps saying we have not been in communication with him. That is simply not true. Chase has talked to him numerous times on the phone, and had to quite speaking to him due to his lack of professionalism and talking poorly about the crew. There has been email correspondence on several dates which I have sent over to the Revdex.com.
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
The facts are these:
I have not spoken to Chase in 4 weeks.
From 6/27/18 until 7/9/18 (11 days) there was NO communication from Apex management; email, phone or otherwise.
My email on 6/9 wasn't a personal threat. It was to advise Apex of my next course of action if I did not hear from them.
I've NEVER spoken to the respondent (***) of these Revdex.com messages via email, phone, or otherwise.
As of today, 7/10/18, Apex has sent a painter to cover the tack and repaint what they washed away (which is satisfactory), but insists they didn't damage my building and continue to refuse to do any repair work.
Sincerely
I hired apex asphalt to seal coat our driveway this summer,we have two dogs and they won't let anyone in the yard,so I told apex that if they would give me notice I would make sure that the dogs were put away. They gave me one day notice and on the day they came out to seal coat the driveway I had them put away in the garage. The next day I was looking at the job that they did and I noticed two holes that were not filled. I called apex and told them, they said that they would send someone out to look at it.I told them to let me know when so I could lock the dogs up,they didn't and they sent a guy out and the dogs were out and they wouldn't let them look at the holes so they left.I called again and I was told someone would call me back, I waited all day and no one called me back.I called again and they wanted my email address and they said they would get ahold of me. They sent me a nasty email stating that they wouldn't bid my driveway because of the dogs! I called them back and told them that I didn't need a bid, the work was already done! They then asked for me to send them pictures of the holes.I did, they then sent me an email saying they would do nothing because of our (vicious) dogs!
When she initially called in, she asked for us to give her a sealcoating bid. Which we did. Our sealcoating crew called and scheduled a time to come out and do the project for her. Part of our procedure is to make sure and tell the homeowners to lock up their pets so they don’t get into the sealer. At this point the contract between her and Apex Group was fulfilled, nothing was wrong the quality of work performed. Once we did this for her, she wanted a bid to get 2 patches quoted. We made if very clear that it wasn’t part of the original proposal and that we would be giving her a quote for additional work. At this time ,she didn’t mention that we needed to call in advance to look at her project because of her aggressive dogs. Chase went out first to look at the project ,got out of his truck and there were 2 dogs there. A small dog and a german shepard. The small dog ran and tried to attack Chase. He had to hit/push the dog off of him with a roll-a-tape several times. At which point he left. JessAnne contacted her within 24 hours to let her know that we couldn’t bid the job because of her aggressive dog. She contacted the office and said that she still wanted a bid and that she would lock the dogs up if she knew in advance. Then Jeff went out a couple of days later, calling her in advance and letting her know that he was going to be there. She didn’t lock the dogs up. The same dog did the same thing. This time attacking Jeff’s leg. He had to kick the dog off his leg a couple of times. Each time, he was able to get closer to his truck. Finally, once he got into his truck, he called her from her driveway, telling her that her dog just attacked him, and the he needs her to lock up her dog so he could look at her project. At this time she appeared to be home the garage door was open and 2 vehicles where in the driveway. She didn’t pick up and didn’t call him back. Jeff had JessAnne email her letting her know that because of her aggressive dog we would not be able to quote her project. She called the office later and was mad because we didn’t bid her job. We told her what happened and she acted like we were crazy. She threatened to call the Revdex.com, so here we are. We will not ever put our guys into a situation that is unsafe with an aggressive dog. I hope you guys understand.
