We dropped off our BMW on April 15, for a check engine light and a squealing noise for a diagnostic check. First it was the real seal that needed to be repaired, which took a couple weeks due to them not having enough techs, techs that couldn't do the job, due to drug issues or not showing up for work, and the owner/wife taking a leave of absence. During this time, it was also found out that the timing needed adjusted, and so on. We kept getting the run around on the final completion, etc via facebook messenger, texts or a couple phone calls, most initiated by myself or my wife. we paid a down payment, in cash, of $1500.00. Twice, I went to the lot to check on my car. the first time - my car was unlocked on their lot, with no one around. I asked them to be sure to lock my car. 2nd time I visited, my car was in pieces, hood up, unlocked, parts in the trunk and no one around.
We were patient, up until the end. we told them we wanted the car put back together as we didn't trust them or when and if the car was ever going to be done. we were put off for a week.
I finally was fed up, no car for over 6 weeks; traded the car in, sight unseen, told jeremy and ashley (the owners) that they had to get it put back together as we didn't own it anymore and the dealership was coming to get it. we were put off again for multiple days.
the dealership came and got the car June 8, almost 2 months after we initially dropped the car off. Apex released the car without a word. now they are asking for a final payment of $771.00, which we don't know if they even did the work or not.
