Anytime Fitness

I signed up for a month to month membership.
This type of membership did not require automatic renewal.
My last visit to this gym was April, 2018.
I discovered that the gym continued to renew my membership without my permission. They deducted fees from my account from May 2018 to February 2020. I notified my bank and stopped the payment. Anytime Fitness in Libertyville Il is refusing to refund the payments that they have taken from my bank account without my permission. I spoke with an employee at the gym on 2/22/2020 and 2/24/2020. He admitted that the fault was theirs but they still refuse to issue a reimbursement.
