Windshield leaking again.
Windshield leaking again.
This company has made several attempts to repair my windshield they said they found the leak I was able to seal it it's been about two months and it started leaking again. They obviously did not do a great job the first time around
The customer has agreed to have our windshield technician/vendor address the issue on October 28.
This business waited until the end of the buying process to tack on an additional $1,800 to the price of the 2012 Chevy Express Van I was purchasing. I would never endorse these people.
it was my first car ever. my dad came along but they got me approved by myself.
I got a really good interest rate and very affordable payments on what to me was a brand new car, even that it was a slightly used 2017. Thanks Uncle Paulie and "Tuna" for all your help. Ill send friends and family your way
Business 'Bait and Switched' and also forged my signature on a new contract.
February 24th, 2016, I bought a 2014 Chrysler 200 from Antwerpen Auto World. The car was sold to me by ***. I let *** know that if I buy the car, it is important that I have warranty coverage because I do a lot of driving and I would like to have peace of mind should any major repairs need to be made on the car. I also let him know I have to have GAP insurance because the previous car I purchased, I had been paying for for almost 5 years and it was totaled about a year before I had paid it off. I wanted to make sure I had coverage should something like that happen again. Recently, I was inquiring about trading the vehicle in and was notified by one of the dealers I was shopping with that I am very "Upside down" in my trade. At this point, I have been paying for the car for two years, I went home that night to look at my contract and I realized the contract that I signed may be a bit different from the actual loan I am in with ***. The next day, February 14th, 2018, I called ***, The representative let me know that I had warranty coverage and but not GAP. I then requested a copy of my contract. After waiting almost two month for my contract with *** and filing a complaint against them, I received a copy of the Contract (4.3.18.). After reviewing the contract I realized a huge difference in my signature. The night that I bought my car, The finance manager let me know that just got digital software with a new touchscreen from a company called '***' which made my signature on the forms look really sloppy. The contract that was sent to me by *** has my name signed in ink and looks way neater than the documents I originally signed. Also, the loan I originally with *** and the loan with *** are two different dollar amounts. The loan with Prestige is for $17,130 and $32,704 including finance charges. The loan with *** is for $14,745 and $27,921 including their finance charges. Which says to me, someone changed the figures on the loan. The only thing that should change on the new loan is the finance charges, not the amount being financed. Lastly, the original contract also states that I have GAP insurance coverage with *** group. I called *** and I was told that my GAP insurance coverage was cancelled in "May 2016 at 100 percent by the dealership" and that I can not receive any documentation because it was cancelled by the dealership only they can receive documents pertaining to coverage. After getting off the phone with *** I called Antwerpen's General Manager *** and left a message for him to return my call. Mr. called me back the next day, I let him know about my complaint and he responded by asking me in an argumentative tone "Well WHO cancelled the GAP insurance, Ms.? Who has the money?", as if I were lying. I then told him that all I wanted was a resolution and he proceeded by telling me that I can call their lawyer and asked me "Do you want our lawyers number?". I proceeded to end the phone call because I knew at that point he wasn't looking to help me at all. At this point I was frustrated because all I wanted was a resolution. After a week of waiting for my documents from ***, I called Antwerpen Auto World which is where I bought the car, to speak to their finance manager to let him know what had been going on and he stated that he was new and that he wasn't the manager who serviced my deal but he could help and would take me out of my current car if I wanted a new one. I went there hopeful that that would happen. Instead, they tried to sell me another car and put me in even more debt than I came in with, which is no help to me at all. I then went to another dealer to shop because at that point I just wanted a new car and to not have to deal with *** and Antwerpen at all. I told the salesmen what had been going on and he let me know that I should file a complaint because what they have done is
I would like a refund of $27,221 which is the total amount of the loan with *** in order to pay off the remainder of my loan to end the contract. As well as refund of the $11,000 that I have paid for the car out of pocket.
The customer has dealt directly with executives from Antwerpen Auto World. We believe the customer is satisfied.
Purchased a car and the price quoted was not granted. Signed documents not provided and repairs and contact attempts ignored.
12/11/18
I went to Antwerpen Auto World Randallstown for a Nissan Rogue and I eventually changed my mind about. My salesman led my daughter and I to his office to discuss the car we'd like and after checking his desktop told us there was a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder SV 46,581mls for $19,700 listed that he just learned about-that it's at service and had arrived yesterday. He took us to the service room where the car was undergoing service. He said it'd be ready the following day and pressed me to give my info, so I could secure it. I declined but agreed to check on the car the following morning. I also sent him an email and he promptly responded.
Next day vehicle was brought to the front and *** showed it to us. It hadn't been cleaned yet. He pointed at various features of the car and directed us to the middle row, the leg room, and asked we check luggage area. He reclined one of the rear seats. So far, so good. We took a test drive half a mile out at 40m/hr. speed limit. Paperwork and documents: I say I have a *** approval, but he said he'd find a better interest rate. I requested he checks with *** who I had an account with. Later he said he'd gotten*** (I'd never heard of it) at an interest rate of 4.10%. I was disappointed with the rate as I have near excellent credit. But I was assured they would "work with you". The process is long and the waiting even longer as conversations on the sale are going on away from us. Finally, the Sales Manager comes to the office expressing some dissatisfaction with his staff. Eventually we go to the finance office to sign the documents after I'm told that the car has one key and that I'd be given me a contact for key cut. The document signing is on a big screen on the table. The man on the other end flips the signature pages for me to sign, he then flips the pages back to his side. I notice the next payment is way over the budget although I had put a $2,000 down. But I'm reminded it's a great deal. I ask for my copies and the man tells me that he's out of ink and shows me one faded copy of a document. I tell him to email me the copies. I finally get the vehicle after it is filled to 3/4 tank.
I never received any emails of the documents. I called the office and emailed them but there was no response.
I never got the official bank information for insurance purposes. They had my insurance information, but didn't verify the vehicle they'd just sold was insured. For the next couple of days, I couldn't drive the vehicle. I googled the financier they'd mentioned then provided it to for insurance..
Almost a month later I received my contract via ***. That's when I learned the worst:
" My car insurance company had the wrong bank information. It was not***.
" The sale price had shot up from $19,700 to $23,995.
" The paperwork included all the worksheets, so I was able to see the profit they had made off me.
I had also noticed a rip on the rear chair salesman had reclined as we inspected the car. The step pad/ foot rest for the driver's side was stacked in the storage compartment! I called and emailed them about this but to date, it's been empty promises. We have been to the dealership several times since. We met with Sales Manager who was shocked to learn that I had the worksheet of documents sent to me. He promised to call but he didn't. Repairs: Salesman finally gave me an appointment, after repeatedly calling about my long overdue tags since the dealer tags were to expire within three days. I leaned they'd been sitting there for weeks. I found repair appointment was cancelled. That afternoon he called me with a phone number of someone who would call me. No one called.
I have given this dealership more than enough time to right their wrongs. I have made multiple calls and received no response. I have yet to receive any reply to the emails sent. I believe they're taking me for a ride. Another ride.
The desired resolution is: 1. Price adjustment and refund owed. 2. Repairs on the vehicle as promised.
When the customer came to Antwerpen Auto World they were at a Rogue as they has stated. However, they did not like the Rogue and chose to purchase the Pathfinder which they preferred. Antwerpen Auto World made a deal based on payments and a financing rate in which the customer was very happy. The customer stated in their letter, they did not come to the dealership as internet customer on the Pathfinder.
As stated in the original Revdex.com complaint "the car Pathfinder was undergoing service" and was not finished in service. The completed service directly impacts the sale price of the vehicle. Antwerpen Auto World worked with the customer based on their budget parameters. The customer was very happy with the deal they made and thanked us, as we thanked them.
Antwerpen Auto Worldagreed to take care of the tear in the seat . We asked the customer to make an appointment - through their Antwerpen Auto World sales representative - with our 3rd-party upholstery vendor at no additional charge to them. This was not included in the original deal and upholstery tears are not covered under any dealerships warranty.
Antwerpen Auto World was not aware the customer has not had their seat fixed and is still willing to have the tears addressed by our 3rd-part upholstery vendor.
I do not accept the business response to my complaint, but I appreciate that they have responded.
The business mentions that we were happy and thanked them after the purchase. I was happy to drive away after being in the dealership from 10:30am to 4:45pm on 12/12/17. We were tired, and I was very late for work that afternoon. We chose to wait and complete the process rather than come back another day. I was also happy to get a car for what I then thought was a good price. Not so after the contract documents arrived by FED EX a month later. The price of the car was much higher! And then upon getting home I noticed a rip on one seat and a loose foot pad stuck/hidden between the driver's seat and console. Car buying should not be such a pain. Our happiness was short lived.
The salesman on December 11, 2017 acted like he didn't know they had a Nissan Pathfinder at their shop. After we had taken a look at it he wanted us to commit to it as he had already given us a price that was within our range and told us it was just one little thing left on the vehicle at service. In fact, he asked that I start the transaction by providing the documents. I was hesitant because I had not even test driven the vehicle. He said we might not find the car the following day because the price was fair, and someone might just walk in and commit to it. The price was already set. I eventually agreed to check the car the following day, which I confirmed via email. I would not have gone back if I didn't know the cost of the car. That evening I noticed that the vehicle was advertised on their website as well as on the *** Navigator website for the same price that he had quoted. I knew I was not going back to the dealership to discuss the price but to inspect, test drive and buy the vehicle if it drove well. We may not have come to the dealership as internet customers, but the internet price is the same one that the salesman had quoted. In fact, we were ready to leave if we found a better deal of a similar vehicle elsewhere. The salesman knows that because we had live internet prices from different dealerships at hand. This vehicle was formerly a multiple driver rental car with 46,581 miles odometer reading and I paid $2,000 down. The salesman had told me to not make the down payment, but I needed to lower the financed amount and therefore interest. I still maintain that the business honors the quote they had given us which is the same as that posted online.
I maintain that the business failed me when they didn't provide me with photocopies of signed documents right away (they said they ran out of printer ink!) even after I had emailed them and called them several times. I cannot help but think my computer signed documents were altered. I had to go by the name of the bank the salesman had told me had financed the car, google the financier and give the information to my car insurance agent. Worse still it turned out that this was not even the final financier for the vehicle meaning that they let me sign documents and drive off when they had not finalized financing for the vehicle. I had to call my auto insurance agent again to correct financier info almost a month later! They made three hard pulls on my good credit report when I already had *** Navigator and had already mentioned a current auto financier they could contact. Through it all they were promising to give me a better interest rate which turned out to be negligible. In fact, the final financier ended up charging a higher interest rate than the first one mentioned.
The business reported that they were not aware that the minor repairs had not been done. I'm flabbergasted that customer satisfaction to them is non-existent otherwise they should have followed up on this. That the repairs were to be done by a third party is all the more reason why they should have followed up with that third party too. The third party never called me and I at this point was so fed up that I did not want to contact the dealership anymore. That's why I took the complaint to Revdex.com. And there was no response from them for two months! The dealership has my contact and they can provide that to the repair company and vice versa. I would appreciate any communication on the repairs be email or mail for coherence and convenient referencing.
Beware of this dealership. My friend was going to buy a bmw 7 series On Saturday both parties agreed on a price. On Monday when he went to pick up the car Jason the manager said he couldn't honor it . Sales person John was nice and tried. I wouldn't recommend anyone buying a car from this dealership. this place is running business very un ethically, I went to their other dealership several times and never had issue, this is 2nd time they fell short my expectation and I feel owner need to do something to fix this specific dealership.
Was looking to purchase a used BMW from this dealership. They are located in NJ and I am in NJ. I am also disabled. The sales rep, Terry, treated me well. I got a note on 11/18 from the GM (who didnt even know he sent it)

When I called Matt, he told me "with all due respect he would not discuss price unless I came to MD to the dealership and test drove the car. I would NEVER do business with this business EVER. Sorry Terry, you were great
The negligence of Antwerpen Auto World to provide accurate and timely information as well as requested services resulted in the loss of property.
6/26 I had my vehicle towed to Antwerpen Autoworld after accident(6/21) in which other motorist was at fault. Vehicle was clicking and smoking after accident and would not start. Both I and adjuster for claim agreed that these issues should be addressed before body work. 6/27 Antwerpen stated starter "went bad" and they couldnt run diagnostics without starting vehicle. Insurance refused to cover cost 6/30/17 I authorized starter replacement at out-of-pocket cost of $370.12. 7/5 Antwerpen notified starter was replaced and vehicle was in safe operating condition. They provided summary of service needs, including unexplained diagnostic codes. I requested details and service quotes for identified issues to determine extent of associated costs before body work. Technicians stated issues were not serious and stated that if body work did not start they would charge $50 per day storage fee so I authorized body work. 7/11 I contacted Antwerpen about progress. They stated body work had not begun and would not be done for 2 weeks. 7/12/17 Called again requesting that since body work had not begun I would like to use vehicle in its current state as trade-in. Request acknowledged and transferred me to sales dept. Sales rep said they had to go see the vehicle to make trade in offer and would call back. Later I missed call from shop and called back within 10 minutes. I said I hadnt heard from sales and wanted trade in value because I wanted to use insurance money for purchase of new vehicle. They stated they would get back to me and did not. 7/19 contacted them again about trade in value and repair costs. They stated that they would provide information, but did not. 7/20 they emailed me service quotes initially requested 7/5/17. I asked which repairs were most important to the operation of the vehicle if I were to have work done instead of purchasing a new vehicle. Received no response. 7/21 Antwerpen called and left message stating body work was done. I called and spoke with manager and stated that this was not how things were supposed to happen. I stated I wanted to address repair issues before body work and was told vehicle may have service needs but that was not their problem. Was assured they would not allow me to leave with an unsafe vehicle. Retrieved vehicle that evening. Less than 1 mile from Antwerpen vehicle began clicking/shaking. I pulled over called Antwerpen to spoke with manager who said I could take it to another of their shops. They could not offer help at that time and location so I continued drive home. 6 miles later vehicle began smoking from hood and shut down on Rt 40 in Catonsville. I called Antwerpen to speak with manager and he could provide no advice or help so I had my car towed to *** and asked for diagnosis. 7/21 *** stated battery was dead and after jumping vehicle to start they could tell that there was an internal engine problem. They advised repairs would not be worth cost of vehicle and I should discard and not attempt to drive it. 7/27 Contacted Antwerpen via *** and they stated they informed me of service needs and made $3700 trade-in offer. At no point was offer communicated via text or phone and they have failed to provide record of offer. Email and phone records will confirm the above statements.
I trusted Antwerpen to assess service needs and value of vehicle in order to make educated decision concerning repair and finances. *** provided accurate info concerning state of vehicle within 24 hours of drop off, while Antwerpen failed to do so for 15 days after request. They completed body work on vehicle despite requests for other services and used threat of fees to try and rush important decisions. Their neglect resulted in the loss of my vehicle and monetary damages awarded from accident.
I would like a refund of $4535.49 reflecting monetary damages awarded by insurance company that were taken by Antwerpen for body work as well as a refund of $370.12 paid out-of-pocket for a starter on a vehicle that does not run. Antwerpen may keep vehicle if honoring $3700 trade in offer they lied about on ***.
The customer brought their vehicle to our Antwerpen Smash Shop after being in an accident. We immediately informed the customer that their starter had gone bad and that we could not properly evaluate the damage without starting the vehicle. Apparently, their insurance would not cover the cost of the new starter, which may or may not have gone bad as a result of the accident.
The customer agreed to pay for the new starter and we repaired it and began assessing the damage. The damage to the vehicle was extensive and the customer did not seem interested in repairing the vehicle. They wanted to apply the insurance money to a new vehicle. The customer was unhappy with the offer we (Antwerpen Auto World) were willing to make. The customer then authorized body work on the vehicle but did not want to address the mechanical issues.
The vehicle reference here is a 2008 Jeep with 240,000 miles. This car has very low value regardless of the condition because of the extremely high mileage.
After the body work was complete, the customer chose to come and pick up the car and drive it - despite the extensive mechanical problems. The car began to overheat and when he called us, we told him to take the car to the nearest Antwerpen store immediately and told him where that store was located. The customer drove the car home causing further damage the vehicle. Therefore, when the customer took the vehicle to ***, it was beyond repair and *** told him that it was not worth fixing because of the low value of the car - affirming the low value previously mentioned.
Despite the customer description, we had regular and timely communication with him about the vehicle. The customer seemed to be most upset about the value - lack of - that we placed on the 2008 Jeep.
We addressed the customer's needs in an ethical and fair manner. Antwerpen is not responsible for the damage the vehicle suffered as a result of the customer's decision to drive the vehicle without addressing the mechanical repair. We did the body work that was authorized and paid for by the customer. Antwerpen did not push the customer to do any work and never advised that they ignore the necessary mechanical issues.
