To whom it concernsThe complainant did have the transmission in his Honda pilot rebuilt by us on02/11/We do give a month 12,mile warranty- The customer called in July of 2017that being said the warranty time is over. However when the customer called to report the failure he was
asked to get the vehicle tous, so we could see what failedI am open to working with customers in this situation to helpresolve their problemsIf it’s a minor problem we take care of itIf it’s a major problem we maychoose to share cost with the customerHowever the customer became argumentative anddemanding saying that he would not pay for anythingThe customer refused to give us achance to see what had failed in his transmission thus denying us the opportunity to help him ingetting his vehicle repaired in a manner that was suitable to both of us.Thank you

I am responding to complaint #[redacted] The coniplainant is missing a few facts. On 4/14/2014 the complainant brought a 2003 hummer limo to my shop needing the transmissionrebuilt. At that time I could not get the limo in my building to remove the transmission to be rebuilt sothe complainant said he...

would have the Transmission removed at his shop.4/28/14 the complainant brought the Transmission to my shop for the rebuild, The cost or the rebuildwas $1050.00 and came with a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. The complaintant paid in cash, I foundthat to be a very odd thing for a business to do.Several months laterthe complainant called me saying the transmission was leaking on the limo. When I went to his garage to check it out, I found that his guy that installed the transmission did nottighten the transfer case bolts causing the transmission fluid to leak out. I tightened the bolts andrefilled the fluid At that time I explained that any damaged caused by the leak would void the warrantyas the leak was due to improper installation4/20/15 the complainant contacted me again saying the transmission was still leaking and failing-Iexplained that the first leak voided his warranty but agreed to fix the transmission to show goodcustomer service When working on the limo it was discovered that some Wires were damaged,. Wealso found a crack in the extension housing (probably caused by the loose bolts.) The complainantagreed to pay for those repairs. $278.00 Once again he paid in cash very odd.A couple weeks later the complainant returned the limo for a service check. The transmission wasworking fine but there may have been a small leak .We made an appointment to repair the leak a laterdate. An hour later the complainant called my shop asking if we had wrecked his car. I asked my tech ifhe hit anything with the limo He said no. a few minutes later the complainant showed up at my shopmad wanting to look around to see if there was any damage to my shop doors that may have beencaused from the limo hitting it. I agreed to let him look around- When he did not find any damage heapproached my employee continually asking what he hit (as if he was a liar)- At that time I asked thecomplainant to leave an argument ensued, and then I forcefully asked the complainant to leave thepremises.
