*** ***This is in response to a complaint against our business Angel Valley Christian Daycare CenterParent of the child was upset because she was charged a late fee after being fifteen minutes late to pick up her daughter, she came in with shopping bags.
The issue was that she was late 2-times a week to pick up her daughter and never paid late feesThe time was always 10-minutes after closing this is why we charged her fees. She never asked to include late fees in her tuition payment as she paid the same amount weeklyParent would have known according to her receipt that she was only paying tuition as our weekly rates do not changeThe cash that was demanded was for that one particular day and our employee simply informed her that one of her late fees had still not been paid therefore wanted payment before they left. As far as paying her tuition in advance, she left owing us one week of tuitionHer last day was Wednesday, February 28,She had not paid her tuition for that week(due on Monday) and was aware she owed because she called to inform our director about the incident and to tell her she was upset and going to report us to child care licensingShe also stated, she would be in to pay for the week that afternoonParent never came in to pay for that last week of tuition which is $and never paid the late fee she owed which was $13.00. I am rejecting this response because: shopping bags? First I get out of work and go directly to pick her up. Second if this was true explain why someone would take "shopping bags" out of my vehicle to pick up my daughter ? Late fees were paid with the tuition so explain where those fees went as as owners sister stayed they are not paid. Third how can you say I was late 2-3 times a week I would think the company since 1990 would demand payment of late fees. We were there for MONTHS.
