Good Afternoon ***,
Thanks you for your interest in the ***. I am *** with Anderson Motors - locally owned Dodge , Chrysler , Jeep and Ram dealer for over 60 years.
This used *** is in very nice shape with no issues found at all. The only thing that comes up on the *** search is the three times the previous owner had a new windshield put in. this vehicle also spent six months a year in Arizona.
This vehicle has Dual DVD s , Navigation , Trailer hitch , Bluetooth plus man many more options.
The Asking Price on this Unit is $14,900 and yes we look at all different trades if you have a vehicle you want to trade.
When are you able to come take a look or did you want me to send you some more pictures?
Were you thinking of financing this unit - that is possible as well.
You can call text or email me any questions or concerns you might have .
Thanks for this opportunity to show you this van,
***

This vehicle left the factory with the trailer tow package - who removed it I have no idea
After this I received no contact from the sales person for over a month. They said they would not supply a hitch. I also contacted the company regarding paint chipping off the bumper from a carwash. They said it was not their problem because it was a used vehicle. I did not hear anything else from the company until I let them know that I was planning on filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. Dec. 8 they asked if I had ever brought the vehicle in to be looked at. They had never once suggested this. I live 235km from the dealership. It is not feasable for me to drive this distance when they have already told me they will do nothing. As well as the wear and tear on my vehicle, the addtional fuel costs and time. Only when I mentioned the complaint they said they would look at the vehicle. I have suggested numerous times that I would take the vehicle to the shop in my town. They have said no. Any issues that have arised with the vehicle I have contacted them, It takes them a month or longer to even respond to me.
I would like the paint repaired on the bumper and I would like the hitch and towing harness that the vehicle was supposed to come with installed by my local repair shop. This was a factory hitch the van had.
Thank you for bring this issue to the forefront. We have had numerous contact with Ms. and did want her to bring the Van in so we could investigate and resolve the vans issues. In order for us to claim a shortage on a unit or paint warranty our manufacturer has policies and procedures that we must follow. In knowing now that there is no way that the van is to make an appearance at the Dealership I propose the following. Pay our cost on Hitch wiring and install. Pay half our cost due to the van being over ten years old to repaint the bumper. According to *** records it has never been repainted and a ten year old van bumper will have some reasonable wear. Our cost to install hitch and wiring (we assume the wiring is not there but have no way in telling) $511.84 and our cost to repaint the front bumper $355.20/2 = 177.60 for a total of $689.44. I trust this is satisfactory.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I spoke with my local repair shop and they stated that the dollar amount Anderson Motors has alloted for the repairs is not sufficient to cover costs. I also am not willing to pay for this out of my own pocket, the repair shop will directly bill Anderson Motors for these repairs. I will get an estimate from my repair shop and add the documentation here.
We are not disputing that our salesperson made the mistake that there was a trailer hitch on the vehicle. Just that the specifications sheet sent to Ms. did not show it as a factory installed option. The factory had a trailer tow package which does not include a hitch. Our original offer stands. I trust this is satisfactory.
