Review: The office manager [redacted] was VERY unprofessional. She cursed at me and hung up on me numerous times. She also decided to make several HIPPA violations. The patient is my son and my son is 9 years old. My sons father and I have JOINT LEGAL CUSTODY. Several years ago I asked this office to discharge my son due to MALPRACTICE. My son was told on several occasions that his teeth were fine and there were no cavities or issues. Shortly after he had not only several cavities but several root cannels that was not caught by the dentist that was caring for my son. After a second opinion and a specialist this issue was resolved with a different dental office. After this issue along with them scheduling appointments 1 year out and the horrible treatment I received by ALL of the front office staff. I asked [redacted] if she can discharge my son and write a letter to me ASAP with this. She stated she would and 6 months later I called and found out she did not follow through with this. I made it VERY clear that I DID NOT give permission that my son be seen there ever again. a week later they allowed my sons fathers wife (a third party that I also did not give permission to take my son) they allowed my sons fathers wife to take him without notifying me against my consent to this. I then send in writing through my attorney that I did not give permission. I then followed through and attempted to speak to the owner DR.[redacted], I left him SEVERAL voicemails and send emails as well and it has been a week and I have not heard back from him. The office staff, [redacted] then decided to write my sons father a letter stating that I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE MY SON TO THERE OFFICE and the only people allowed are his wife and him. AGAIN we have JOINT LEGAL CUSTODY. They do NOT have the right to control this. I heard from a person named [redacted] who now agreed to send me a letter to DISCHARGE my son. She then apologized verbally for this misunderstanding and then when I asked if they can give this to me in writing she hung up.Desired Settlement: I would like [redacted] the office manager to get fired for this illegal, HIPPA violation and I would like the owner to send me a letter in writing stating this was his offices fault and that I was never not allowed to take my son to treatment and that this will be handled and that he is SORRY! I want justice!
