Anaheim Discovery Inn & Suites

I booked a 1 night stay at this establishment on the day of the intended stay through a business called Hotels Tonight. I arrived to the property around 9pm to check in and was given my room keys. I enter the room that was extremely hot and immediately turned on the AC unit that was not working to its proper standard. I order for you to feel any air coming from the unit you had to sit directly in front of it. The room was not up to the standard it was advertised as. I also had my two year old daughter with me who was already asleep. I pull the sheets of the bed down for her to sleep and revealed a bed full of dog fur and hair. I went to let the front desk know that the room was not acceptable and that I wanted a refund. I was then told that because the room was booked through a third party booking agency the issue would have to be resolved through them. I was not asked if I wanted another room, or more fans. I was only told that the AC unit could be looked at nothing more. I told them that since the matter has to be brought but through Hotels Tonight I would find someone else to stay and take the matter up with them. When I went back to get my daughter I noticed that there was also hair in the bathroom sink and shower. The room was not properly cleaned and should not have been rented out. I contacted Hotels Tonight where they informed me that a refund can actually only be processed by the hotel itself. I once again contracted the hotel & was give a complete run around and they would not let me speak with a manager on the issue. They then said that they did actually issue a refund (which no one called to inform either myself or hotels tonight) but since I gave them a "thumbs down" review via the hotels tonight they recharged the card. They are claiming since I did that it technically means I stayed at the hotel and they can not refund the stay. I did NOT stay @ this hotel & they are purposefully giving me the run around through loop holes with hotels tonight policy.
