I am writing this complaint in regards to the defective face masks I purchased through Dr. ***’ online store. When I opened one of the masks I realized the yellow valve was warped. I then proceeded to open some of the others and they were the same way. Having the valve warped and not covering the valve hole correctly is very dangerous because this allows for unfiltered air to be breathed in. It’s like not even wearing a mask. Eight out of the ten masks I purchased were like this. I checked Dr. ***’ website and I noticed they are no longer for sale. I’m now wondering if they pulled the masks from their site due to them being defective and negative reviews being written.
I did contact Dr. ***’ customer service personnel and Marc, one of their representatives, asked me to send him pictures of the masks. After sending the pictures he let me know that their management would be made aware of the problem and offered me a 15% off coupon on my next purchase. That is just ridiculous.
What an I supposed to do with all these masks? Throw them away and lose all the money I spent on them? I would like my money refunded for these defective masks. I will gladly send them back to their store. They are not only useless but would be dangerous to wear during a pandemic.
We have a 30 day satisfaction policy and any product can be returned within that window. The customer contacted us outside the 30 day policy and also supplied pictures that do not demonstrate a defect. However, we are going to refund the order outside of normal policy.
